Whoops, I slipped and posted the trailer again.
I want this game, they deserved to finish what they started.
And this trailer is 2 years old, they had 2 whole more years of progress done ahead of this.

I can write a full on essay on how really good the opening of ME3 is, it sets the tone right away and makes it clear that the Reapers are here and they are going full on war mode.
The dread and hopelessness that not only Shepard feels but the player too was genius

The two most beloved sci-fi trilogies in video games, Mass Effect and Halo.
Which three game run reigns supreme?

The First Contact War between the Systems Alliance and the Turian Heriarchy was only thirty years before Mass Effect. Ashley Williams was born right on the heels of that conflict, which was started by the turians attacking humanity completely unprovoked. And in the aftermath of that war, her family took the brunt of the political and social impact in the Alliance.
Despite humanity being attacked without military provocation, humans gained a reputation as "aggressors" due to the war. Humans in Mass Effect, Ashley especially, are entirely justified in their prejudices. Mass Effect 2 and 3 only justify it further.
