It isn’t hatred, but an awareness of one slight after another that continues to be a pattern for the Indian diaspora. Ex: A local convenience store next to my home changed ownership recently and was bought by an Indian owner. A store that I usually stopped at 4X a week; whether on the way to work or on my way home. For ten years, the staff and manager remained practically the same. I knew the morning clerk’s father retired in the area after his military service and that she grew up here. That her daughter went to the same school she attended, and that her sports team was fundraising to take a group trip to Japan. I contributed to her efforts. I also knew the store manager, and that his dad died this year. Mine did as well. We talked about the numerous things a son has to take care of after a parent dies. The other shift workers had ties to the region and family. These weren’t just nameless, faceless gas station clerks constantly on a Bluetooth call to the homeland. They were part of the community. People I felt a connection to as fellow Americans. Went into the store yesterday. A short, polite Indian was behind the counter. I asked where the regular afternoon clerk was. Fired. Where was the old manager? Fired. "Everyone fired?”, I asked. Yes, all replaced by his co-ethnics he says. Now, some will use sophist rhetoric about how businesses change hands, employees are let go, just a part of the economic process, etc. Explain away, I don't really care. All I see is a colonizing, locust mentality treating my nation and my people like expendable economic meat widgets. A group of extreme in-group preference, nepotistic Izzat culture. So no, I don’t hate anyone. But I also don’t see one good thing about this diaspora if this is the result of their behavior. A reckoning is long overdue.
Why the fuck are Indians hated so much? What have they done to deserve this level of hatred? Have Indians promoted terrorism? Have they colonized your countries? Enslaved your people? Stolen your homes? Taken away your families? Kidnapped your children? What exactly have millions of ordinary Indians done to deserve this much racism and hostility? Is it because they're educated, intelligent, ambitious, hardworking, and competing for the same jobs as you? Since when did intelligence and ambition become crimes? Since when did working hard to build a better life become a reason to be hated? If your problem is job displacement, then why aren't you directing the same anger toward artificial intelligence? Why not question AI? Why not question ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Anthropic, OpenAI? AI has the potential to displace far more jobs than Indian immigrants ever could. Yet somehow, the Indian engineer, the Indian student, the Indian doctor, and the Indian worker become your enemies. Why? Because it's easier to target a human being with a different skin colour or accent than to confront the actual economic forces changing your world? And understand one thing clearly. If an Indian refuses to engage with your racism, if they ignore your insults, if they choose not to respond to your hatred, it doesn't mean they lack a spine. It means your hatred isn't worth their time. Indians don't owe you an apology for being educated, ambitious, hardworking, successful, or simply existing. Being Indian is not a crime. Being successful is not a crime. And your insecurity is not a justification for racism.

Correct. Because there's not a single person in those photo who can trace their American ancestry back to Valley Forge, or even Bill Clinton's presidency for that matter.

Weird to be flexing this during these economic times. If I had this much wealth I sure as hell wouldn't be telling the world about it in a glossy NYT spotlight article. Too many nutcases out there that take the "k*** the rich" slogan to heart.

You too can have nice thanksgiving dinners with your family, it just requires you to spend 15 million dollars to build a property in the middle of the desert.

On the bright side, at least he avoided catching Monkeypox from any of them.
Found it: Look at the smugness of the French Politicians who created the current crisis. In France there is a tradition in which the youngest new member serves as the temporary assembly secretary and everyone shakes their hands. In this case the youngest member was a member of Le Pen’s Party.

You could have shortened the Vietnam War... if you'd actually served.
Churchill could have shortened WW2 by years if he had just “done a deal” with Hitler. George Washington could have done a deal to end the American Revolution. Zelenskyy is in good company.

Welp, DA: Veilguard alone lost over $100 million+ for the studio, so I don't see what evan is even arguing about here. People like playing fun video games, not social activist propaganda.

It's the perfect ideological trap, at least in their eyes. Doesn't matter if it is a video game, tv/movie or popular Western Fiction 1. Take popular IP 2. Cram it with latest SJW garbage 3. Audience rejects it 4. Instead of reflecting inward, use projection to blame audience 5. Claim victimhood and call it a win Reminds me of RoboCop 2 where they ask the focus group if anything should be added to his original 3 Prime Directives and they shove 200 more into his system.
