Want to hear a SMART explanation for WHY Kansas schools crying for MORE state dollars are full of it?! State legislator Kristey Williams has been on my show multiple times to explain... (FULL podcast with Kristey Williams in the comments... subscribe and listen ⤵️). 1) The state IS funding Kansas Students, including special education, at its full amount based on appropriations, meaning the legislature needs to look at all expenditures to decide its total amount. The state legislature did fully fulfill the Gannon lawsuit that went to the Kansas Supreme Court in 2019, which includes special education. 2) The state doesn't print money, the schools are just going after taxpayers in a different way (state vs. property taxes). 3) Outcomes keep declining, yet the schools keep demanding more money. 4) Cash reserves for K-12 in the past 10 years have added $500+ million, so the schools are sitting on $2.1 billion in cash reserves, including special education in cash reserves (about $278 million). 5) State has provided annual increases per Kansas Supreme Court decision. 6) Audits have shown that money is not being used legally where it's supposed to. 7) Taxpayers are paying $220 million for special education that is not counted towards the school districts' formula. It makes it look like the state isn't doing its share, but it is. FULL interview, please share this with parents/Olathe/Johnson County residents who need to hear it... below in the comments. ⤵️

FREEDOM TRAIN: Trump took the Freedom Train through North Dakota to dedicate the Theodore Roosevelt Library for America's 250th. Teddy crisscrossed the nation by rail, & Trump is reviving that spirit. This is what celebrating America looks like.

This is amazing. Highly recommend. My family and I drove back to DC early over New Years to see this exhibit to kick off #America250. Well done @Interior and @Freedom250 ! 🇺🇸
The Washington Monument will once again be lit up from July 1–5. 🇺🇸   Back by popular demand, it's one of many @Freedom250 celebrations on the @NationalMallNPS this week as America turns 250.

Lord, we pray for a blessing over our nation. Lord, we pray for healing in our land. We pray for a great awakening. We pray for revival across this nation. In the name of Jesus, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, we pray. Amen.

AOC called Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric ignorant, while making an ignorant statement. She also misrepresented what Charlie said about the Civil Rights Act. We can’t keep doing this - it’s putting people in danger.
We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.” His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.” We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
