i think aurora’s lack of screen time warrants a sequel rather than a rewrite of the og film because three middle-aged to elderly women being the protagonists who save the day is just too good

I think the creator of this show needs to reread the book again and the read it again for good measure because everything they’ve said about the show so far (this and the comments they’ve made about Mr. Darcy) tells me that she hasn’t read the same book as the rest of us—
When one reads 'Pride and Prejudice' as a teen or a 20-something, it’s easy to get swept up in the romance. If you reread it in your mid-30s, though, you may come to the same realization Alderton did: “Mrs. Bennet’s kind of the hero of the whole f--king thing.” vanityfair.visitlink.me/6VVR…
Being in my 30s has made me realize exactly how terrible of a mom she actually was
She was happy when her 15 year old got married to a grown ass man older than her eldest daughter after he kidnapped her

I can’t imagine anyone at any age ever thinking “Mrs. Bennet’s kind of the hero of the whole f--king thing.” She
was right to try to secure her daughters’ futures but she was wrong in nearly all her actions and all her
behavior and all her thinking.

The trouble with the dominance of "Pride & Prejudice" is that I see people argue all the time about the Bennets as a married couple & as parents, but nobody talks about the Bertrams. That's another great picture of bad parents.
Do these people realize lots of Astarion fans are SA survivors themselves and they have the right to disagree with the way SA was portrayed in the book?
And Astarion also has many trans fans
What are we doing here?
I don't even care about censoring the name here because accusations like this are just disgusting. Acting as if it isn't goddamn sa victims and fans disliking the book because it has an absolutely disgusting, oversexualized portrayal of a sa VICTIM.

had mrs bennet actually cared about the future of her daughters on the marriage market she would have:
a) had them properly educated
b) curbed her own spending which austen states is the cause of a lot of the bennets money worries
c) not let lydia go to fucking brighton

*Los clichés son aburridos*
Yo cuando el episodio 9 es un capítulo de playa, el 10 un festival de verano donde la chica va en yukata y el 11 un festival escolar
