I think the creator of this show needs to reread the book again and the read it again for good measure because everything they’ve said about the show so far (this and the comments they’ve made about Mr. Darcy) tells me that she hasn’t read the same book as the rest of us—

was right to try to secure her daughters’ futures but she was wrong in nearly all her actions and all her
behavior and all her thinking.
