i find it so interesting how a big part of the player base for mmos (arguably one of the most time consuming types of games) are people who just. refuse to play the game

You can level in it. Your sprout friends can join you in it. Sprouts aren't going to get spoiled on bosses. You can quit after one boss. Bosses are truly randomized unlike the Beastmaster mode. Great version of "Hey wanna beat up stuff for a bit and have some fun" content in the game. I like this a lot.
