I envy many Christians for one thing: a Catholic, a Baptist and an Anglican can live side by side without making religion a battlefield. Now look at us, the so-called religion of peace. Some Sunnis have attacked Shias. Ahmadis are rejected, persecuted and, in some places, killed, because other Muslims refuse to call them Muslim. Same God. Everyone wants to decide who gets to use the name. So do we actually love each other, or only the ones who believe exactly like us? Christians argue over doctrine. Some of us kill over it.

This Dr's argument is that the assassinated sheikh masusuka is more dangerous to northern Nigeria than the the bandits/terrorist activities that has killed 150,000 - 170,000 lives..... The difference with some highly educated people in arewa and the illiterates committing atrocities in the bush is just access to AK-47.... Allah ya kyauta

Another brainwashed reverse psychology zombie. Your stupid definition of "Christian," is to let Ibo claim origin/credit for what Yoruba ancestors made. Tell us why God divided Israel's land, amongst 12 tribes, instead of one big Israel. Your brain cells are on life support.🫵🏾🤡⬇️

A Nigerian Muslim terror apologist will tell you, as a Yoruba, to stop kneeling or prostrating to greet your parents and elders because it’s “against Islam.” Meanwhile, here are his Arab masters practically licking their king’s feet. 😂

From The 61 year old man you see in this photo just lost his life in a ghastly car accident along Ibeju—Eleko expressway, Lagos. His name is Mr. Salisu Oluwaferanmi Dusonye. An abroad based retired College Cricket coach. He was with 3 of his retiree friends who came back to Nigeria from the UK to inspect the almost 2 hectares of land they collectively bought from a real estate company in Ibeju-Lekki with their entire life savings. 2 hectares of land they were to later discover were committed land acquired by the Lagos state government and STRICTLY reserved for public infrastructure, airports, industrial facilities and future public schemes. A popular Lekki 'big girl' realtor with big nyash and figure 8 convinced these senior citizens to spend almost £72,000 to acquire these lands in 2023 promising them that, due to its proximity to the Dangote refinery, Lekki free trade zone and Ibeju-Lekki sea port, the value of the land would quadruple in 3 years or less. They decided to travel back home together some days ago with a surveyor and a team of lawyers to see their 'retirement investment'. Before today, they had sent the land documents and coordinates via their legal attorney to ministry of lands in Alausa for search and confirmation. Full feedback didn't return until this morning while all 4 elders were at the site of their property which they had already started fencing. They were informed that: No private individual could build or use any land around that area because it was committed acquisition land!!!! No private individual could resell that land because it belonged to the government!!! In summary, they had just thrown away £72,000 and the additional N600,000 they were currently spending on labour and cement to fence off the area was also pointless!!! One of the elderly friends, a Mr. Godwin Adegwu instantly had a heart attack on the site there and slipped unconscious. Mr. Dusonye who was the spokesperson of the friends and the primary purchaser of the land started calling the 'Lekki big girl' realtor who marketed and sold the land to him and his friends 3 years ago. She initially pretended like she didn't know the man, and when he mentioned the name of her company and described the nature of their transaction, spelling out her full name, she switched to telling the man to send an email to the company, that she doesn't own the company— and when the man kept insisting that she had tricked him into making a bad investment because of her commission and selfish interest, do you know what this lady said? She asked the man why he didn't do proper investigation before buying the land, and pointed that real estate was a 50/50 gamble and a matter of luck and did he expect that she came to Lagos to count bridges? She summed up her defense with stating that her job was advertising lands and connecting interested buyers to the company— and NOT giving guarantees on the land being bought. That did he expect her not to sell land and collect her commission? With this she ended the call and blocked the man. The poor old man had the call on loudspeaker so his other elderly friends, the surveyors and their respective solicitors and attorneys could hear all she said. In the process of scrambling into their cars to carry their unconscious colleague to a hospital, both cars were involved in an accident and all the 4 friends and one of their lawyers died at the spot. Mr. Salisu's 34 year old son who was behind the wheel in the car with the fatalities was mangled beyond recognition. All 5 occupants of the Honda Sedan car the other lawyers and surveyors rode survived with few scratches, 1 or 2 broken collar bones and sprained wrists. It was Barrister Sharafa who called me just now breathing heavily: 'Ivan Eagle Lawson.... I know you have a platform. Please warn all the faithful fans because I don't think the government is interested in helping matters. Especially those based in Lagos and Abuja! Olusola Agbalu

True, SEDC was created and funded by Pa Romanus Ogbu from Arondizuogu in Imo State.
FG does not fund the project, funding is by the private sector, plus SEDC and the SE State governments, Reason why some of you guys behave this way is what I don't understand, Tomorrow now, some of you will try to campaign with "marginalisation" and people will point to this post, when in actual sense, FG did not invest anything.

It's true sha. South East is actually four plots of land. Ebonyi are not treated as ibos, and there's an argument to be made that they shouldn't be part of SE. They can be added to North Central instead. Their reps can sponsor a bill to that effect.
Igbos are grouped under the South-East, and this region has four states; But most of the time when I am having a conversation with Igbo people they try to remove themself from the Abakaliki people (from Ebonyi State). I have noticed this severally over the years, and when you ask why the discrimination, there's no valid reason. It gives the impression that you don't like yourselves, yet, you complain about marginalization. Make it make sense.

Support Yorùbá conservatism. That’s your antidote to extremism in the Southwest. If you want to preserve the culture everyone enjoys in the Southwest, you need to support the preservation and conservation of Yorùbá culture.
All it takes is for one extremist to come into power in the SW and we are finished. Till today Yerima altered and birthed mordern day extremism and sharia in Nigeria. 1 man. Lets keep treating extremism with kid gloves.

Let me make a public confession for the first time: when I met with the president, sometime on the 6th of June 2023, I made up my mind that this was the president to travel with... Yes, we are not there yet. There are challenges in the country. We will not deny them, but definitely we are on the road to making things right. The security project is on course. - Caleb Muftwang, Plateau State Governor, speaking at the PBAT Door to Door Movement Rally in Jos, Plateau State

Chai, I don't rate anyone that use Rwanda as an epitome of a state without tribalism or ethnic tussle. Rwanda is a Tutsi Ethnostate held together by a Tutsi warlord and dictator with 95% Tutsi Cabinet. An Tutsi Apatheid State against majority hutu. Olodo.
The Yoruba language intuitively captured the purpose of tribalizing Africa. When I say "tribe," I am not referring to genetic or ancestral lineage; I am talking about a political weapon. Tribal identity is intrinsically, structurally divisive when it exists inside a larger group. The Yoruba call it ẹ̀yà — the fraction, the branch, the part. Today in Africa, some of our bloodiest conflicts are fought along these exact fault lines. I'm grateful for Rwanda. After their painful genocide, they learnt, they adjusted, and aggressively de-emphasized the tribe. (Again, tribe is not ancestry). But in my own country, over three million deaths in a bloody civil war later, we have only regressed deeper into barbaric, tribal obsessions. Wọ́n pé wa l’ólè, a n gbé ọmọ ẹran jó. They called us barbarians and uncivilized, and we turn up every single day to prove them right. When was the last time you went abroad and heard people obsessing over their tribe? In fact, as an immigrant overseas, the biggest threat to your safety comes from those harbouring tribal or racial sentiments. But do you think Oyinbo didn't have tribes? Did they fall from heaven, or spring from the earth like grass? No. Europe was once arguably the most violently tribal place on earth. The Anglo-Saxons, Franks, Goths, Celts, and Vandals hacked each other to pieces for centuries. In their Thirty Years' War alone, they slaughtered up to 60% of their people. So, how did they escape it? Through deliberate sociopolitical 'engineering'. To survive, pre-European states systematically crushed local tribal allegiances. The French central state outright banned regional languages like Basque to force a single French identity. The English crown violently dismantled the Scottish clan system — their tribal structure — banning traditional dress and weapons to force a unified British identity. They built schools, wrote national anthems, and designed flags to turn tribesmen into citizens. They engineered nationalism like it was a religion. They understood a fundamental truth: a modern, powerful civilization cannot coexist with powerful internal fractions (ẹ̀yà). However, Europe's methods were born from a history of violent, hyper-destructive warfare. The only way they knew to de-emphasize differences was through violent subjugation. We, as Africans, are not traditionally given to the practice of such widespread internal annihilation. But the goal, however, remains the same: We must unify to advance. But we can achieve this through dialogue and radical redefinition of our goal and purpose, rather than the sword. xitter.gq/CryptoMuse01/status/21…
