Y’all can be mad all you want, but I will not allow y’all to give Beyoncé her flowers after she’s gone. I’ll make sure you give her those flowers now, while she’s alive to receive and smell them. 🤷🏾‍♀️😭 Part of the reason why people on Stan Twitter hate the Beyhive so much is that we don’t allow them to disrespect her. We don’t allow the belittling. They get so hot because we’re quick to stand up to them and defend her whenever they try to degrade her by using their faves, legends, and legacy acts. The disrespect Beyoncé gets from the public is almost laughable because people will name one of their legacy faves or one-hit wonders who aren’t even half of Beyoncé when it comes to talent, beauty, class, and artistry, and tell you they’re legends. Then they’ll turn around and tell you that Beyoncé isn’t a legend yet, that she’s still getting there. Y’all want Beyhive members like me to remain mute and compliant while y’all vilify Beyoncé to your satisfaction. Then, years after she’s gone, after she’s no longer with us, y’all will turn around and use her as a barometer for the new pop girl, telling her she’s not good enough because she’s not like Beyoncé, who was talented and one of one. Y’all did it to Michael Jackson. Y’all did it to Whitney Houston. But I will not allow y’all to do it to Beyoncé. What good is it to disrespect, drag, and turn someone inside out while they’re alive, only to venerate them and hold them on a high pedestal after they’re gone? Hate me all you want, but if you come for Beyoncé, I will not hesitate to thwack your fave. I will not allow y’all to son Beyoncé with your faves. Her flowers? I’ll make sure she receives them now. And y’all can cry more. 💋😭😭😭
