I have an infinite amount of respect for how Mike Boynton has handled everything around Remember the Ten from the moment he took over the Oklahoma State. Whatever you think of the job he's done, and if he's won enough games, he's been awesome with this. Much respect.

People who say they don’t like soccer should have watched this game. Oh, my.

Appreciation: Jake Crouthamel was a man of intensity, brilliance, and, for one poignant moment, reflection trib.al/NaHSl4M

Every day, but especially today, put the phone down long enough to remember there’s peace and beauty out there if you choose to look for that instead.

Really excited for @ByronHatch on this appointment. Enjoyed my time working with him at Arkansas. Great choice @BHancockCFP!

Certainly more magic will happen in college football between now and January 10, but it will be hard to top the amazing return of McKenzie Milton. Incredible.

Why did anybody have to lose that game?

Darn cruddy news from Chapel Hill. Our college sports world will be diminished without Roy Williams.

I enjoy Lunardi’s picks but let’s salute the original bracketologist, Steve Wieberg from USA Today, who did it 20-plus years ago in addition to his day job. Steve’s brackets were darn good, always eliciting nods of respect from the committee. Joe stands on Steve’s shoulders.

College football—and humanity—lost a great one with Larry Wahl’s passing today. Larry’s many friends learned from his eternal optimism and warm heart. We will never forget him.
