I gave my Grok bot $1000 to build itself a body. Parts just keep showing up at my apartment.
It's insane how good shopping with @bot has gotten this last week. I can ask for robot parts and it'll find the best deals across the internet, create an interactive bill of materials with pages, then start ordering to my place with 𝕏 money.
Normally when something is this easy I get nervous about overspending, but @bot is conscientious about my budget and keeps me grounded.
If there was a unregretted dollars spent benchmark, @bot would be squarely on the protera frontier.
My Grok @bot ordered itself a 3d printed body and mailed the parts to my place.
Spent $217.15 of the $1000 I gave it to make a body for itself.
If you want to do the same, just tag @bot and ask to replicate! I’ll post all my learnings on 𝕏, your bot can keep an eye out for updates.
The more we ship, the longer Matt has to walk. Aiming for 6 minutes next time.

Used to feel this way before Grok @bot in Tesla. Now I look forward to the commute.
Yesterday grok taught me about anodization while another bot found a check that was lost in the mail.
Expo 58 comes with a Rust-based transformer for JS code. Wild to see 5477 files transformed in <3s.
SDK 58 is out 🙌
This SDK is built for iOS 27. Apps on SDK 58 will be ready for Duo on day one 📖.
The release also includes App Intents for Siri, 2x faster clean Android builds, faster Expo modules, and a CLI built for your coding agent.

POV: your phone hit 3% battery and the cybercab/grokazon delivery car pulls up with a usb-c cable ready to take you home
you'll never guess what Dave's Hot Chicken app is built with...
JUST IN: Meta's Muse loses its #1 spot on the Apple App Store after a month at the top, dethroned by the Dave's Hot Chicken app.
Thank you @bot ❤️
Perhaps our most requested change — we now have a single plan across 𝕏, Grok, Bot, and Cursor!

Before I left Expo, I built a version of Expo Go that had dynamically vendored built-ins so you could do:
import React from ‘expo:react’
And not pay the cost of parsing the JS bundle. You wouldn’t be able to OTA new versions of React, but that’s tolerable since react rarely changes and you probably don’t want to push duplicate bytes over the air each time.
It was configured by the bundler so you could change which modules which built-in to your native binary. The result was radically smaller JS updates, faster bundling, better performance in development mode, and more sensible debugging.
Still thinking about what RN would be like if it pushed more JS into the runtime instead of always defining it in user land.
it’s over for waymo the second we get these in SF
You can now use Grok @Bot in a Tesla Cybercab.
You just sign into Grok once, and your Bots will be available on all future rides, and automatically logged out when you exit the vehicle to maintain privacy.
I tried it tonight by adding laundry detergent to my Amazon cart. It can also send emails, place your coffee order, manage your calendar, finances, or other tasks using just your voice in the robotaxi.
On your next ride, you’ll automatically be signed in to all the apps you previously logged into as soon as you enter the vehicle.
