Johannesburg – The Economic Freedom Fighters in Gauteng have commended the Gauteng Provincial Treasury, under the leadership of MEC for Finance and EFF Gauteng Provincial Chairperson Nkululeko Dunga, for intervening to resolve outstanding payments to scholar transport operators. The intervention followed the suspension of services by bus operators contracted by the Gauteng Department of Education over unpaid invoices for August and September 2026.
