This is the most egregious and ignorant action Wikipedia could take, and you allowed it to happen.

That's right. There should be congressional comprehensive investigations in order to find out what went wrong at Wikipedia so that their mistakes will not be repeated again, just like how a NTSB aviation investigation is conducted after a plane crash.
