Nah!! This is one scene where we can appreciate that the writer does not dislike Asuka, but rather fully understands her characterization and brings out her personality well. This is a scene that epitomizes the "Kansai culture" of Japan, a scene in which Asuka demonstrates her ability to interact, a skill that is highly valued in the community of Osaka, where Asuka was born and raised. It is one of the so-called "Nori & Tsukkomi" or "Boke & Tsukkomi" conversations, which are very difficult to translate into English, but it is one of those "daring to accept the other person's misunderstanding or mistake, making a comment as expected by the other person and then denying it," or "accepting the other person's intentionally wrong It is a communication skill that Kansai people are good at.   For example, suppose you go to Osaka, Japan (where I was born).
