the biggest issue is that unintelligent people can access *each other* they can create stupid communities where they never have to be challenged

Juwan Johnson is entering his 6th season in the NFL
Cool reunion in New Orleans: Rookie QB Tyler Shough played with Saints TE Juwan Johnson at Oregon six years ago.

Tet could’ve sat down, but instead he made Bryce Young stand on a table to look him in the eyes during their conversation. I underestimated him. Absolute alpha dog
Tetairoa McMillan indicates that Bryce Young "(stood) on the table" for him during the pre-draft process.

The 'true drop back pass' filter has become overplayed because of how incomplete a picture it paints of a player's skill-set, value and standing as a pass protector. 1) Lacks context Not all 'true drop back passes' are created equal. The level of competition and rusher's alignment need to be accounted for on every one of these snaps to maximize their value. 2) Excludes many jump sets The interplay between PAP & RPOs is an important one to study because it showcases a player's footwork in the run game, on jump sets and the ability to navigate each. You want to see the OL win quickly and deal with getting beat initially. Discounting these reps creates a blindspot. 3) Rollouts tell you a lot about a player's footwork to fit on blocks + physicality, demeanor & power to dent rushers and get them on the ground/clear the pocket. Body blows matter and they are often delivered on these reps. 4) The open side OT on PAP can be one of the toughest blocks to execute, especially with widely-aligned rushers. That can be a lot of space to deal with. You can't skip over these scenarios. These are just some examples. We're sacrificing invaluable context, nuance and depth that comes from studying game film start to finish for the sake of numbers, charts and formulas. This becomes more of a problem with OL than any other position. Just something to think about..

I am afraid I have some bad news Of the 19 NFL Combine OL who completed the 20-yard shuttle... none hit 4.47 seconds The List ✍️📜 will not be adding new members this NFL Draft season
Since 2010, just 36 Offensive Linemen recorded a 4.47 short shuttle or better at the NFL Combine 31 were drafted ✅ Those 31 went on to start 80.1% of their NFL games The List is a cheat code ✍️📜

Basically every OL measured a fourth to a half inch shorter with arm length/wingspan than they did at the Senior Bowl *and* Shrine. So factor that into your overall takeaways from body types and projections.

It’s gonna be very difficult keeping Cade Cunningham off the All-NBA ballot. J.B. Bickerstaff will get big COY votes And Isaiah Stewart is legit one of the best rim protectors in the league

Blaming refs = Loser’s mentality And @tkelce was right, the media is partially to blame. My latest for @The33rdTeamFB: the33rdteam.com/stop-blaming…
“It's personal responsibility, personal accountability, you got to make the plays. Don't blame the refs.” @RossTuckerNFL on the Bills’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last night: @LabattUSA #ad MSG 21+

Football is one of the only sports where a press conference can give a ton of insight into the game & players’ mindsets, and in the biggest media week of the season, we get this. Alright man.
Insane: A reporter asked Patrick Mahomes who his favorite Referee is that helps the #Chiefs win games: “For your whole career you’ve had so many great people help you win, so who is your favorite ref?” 😳😳😳

I’m not sure I agree. Twice vs the 49ers in the SuperBowls they had to overcome. They were down double digits. I want to say vs Eagles in the SuperBowls they were down double digits. They just “overcome” better than everyone else lol.

ben johnson was too distracted putting his staff together so the lions offense only put up 31 points with over 500 yards and a 98th percentile success rate (sad)

Things I hope people realize from these playoffs.. ▫️There are no perfect rosters ▫️Every team deals with injuries ▫️it’ll always come down to the team who makes more timely plays. ▫️It’ll always come down to the QB who makes more timely plays regardless of the circumstances.

I think the spacing, athleticism, shot making, and just overall talent of the league in todays era has made guys harder and harder to guard, and it has tricked people into thinking that they play no defense.
Man, I try to watch the NBA, but the lack of defense doesn’t move me. It’s just straight offense.
