Reality has returned to the sports page.
Lynx choke on Whalen Day. Loons choke against worst team in league. Twins choke against Gardy’s march of bullpeners. We’re back, Minnesota.
Venue rebooked for a swimming meet.
Probably a rainout today.

The middle of May is approaching, and the best record in baseball belongs to the Minnesota Twins. Even better: The team carved out a block of $5 seats for the remainder of its home games this month and sold 20,000 within a day. Affordability and winning sells. An easy concept.

GO LADY GOLDEN RATS... MAKE IT FIVE IN A ROW!!!
This is a perfect example of how much fans will support programs at the U when they consistently show up.
#Gophers softball picks up a 4-0 win over Northwestern. Amber Fiser tosses a one-hitter! The 1,323 fans in attendance celebrated the big win. Retweet to congratulate them on a 20-2 regular season record in Big Ten play!

Are we surprised? Has anyone tracked the number of perfect brackets since the tourney has gone to 64/68 teams?

Agreed, no different if the picture was taken with the bell, the pig, or the jug.
You can not evade the following Minneasotans. Lots of cold; lots of snow; lots of memories.
I really want to complain about the cold but I know there are still Minnesotans following me 🙊 #cowx #9wx #9news
You connect, and it's with someone in India or the Philippines; no real interest or feel for the corporation. With the library, a real sense of ownership and wish to help the client.

Comparing, if comparison allowed, 2 "information entities," i.e. my telephone/internet co. & any public/academic library. Library posts staff directory, makes it easy to contact them, have conversation w/ staff. Company buries contacts, makes it v difficult to contact them. Why?

"Matt" is just another pseudonym for "Ray". First time we have seen this; will enter it into my datafile.
It's what everyone calls me.
You just can't make this stuff up!!!
Replying to @SteveSimpsonMN
I just laughed out loud
Student / Athlete is now a meaningful term on the U of MN campus. Congratulations; the key is to make this the beginning and to continue with these great results.
If I did not know better, this shot might have posed for the canyon or underground cavern.😀
Early Monday morning, peering down an empty westbound lane, Washington Avenue bridge....”In the bleak midwinter...”

Great days with "ONE" division and seven regions. A chance for a back door entry in the eighth region to take it all [and it did]. Now parity, and everyone wins a trophy. Even worse for state Hoops.
My 2nd picture today is a tribute to the best co-worker anyone could ask for, the late RJ Fritz. Oh how we enjoyed televising the state H.S. hockey tournament from the Civic Center.
And who led in missed free throws???

He was a great talent; sorry he did not stay all four years as a Gopher. So much potential; a "big man" who had footwork, rebounding expertise and understanding; and might have made it to the wall of the barn if he had continued here. #RIP
Very saddened to hear of the passing of former Minnesota and Maryland big man Ben Coleman, uncle to ex-Gophers Dan and Joe. Former Minneapolis North great. #RIP
I would have placed the photo in California instead of Pennsylvania if you had not said "State College...' At first glance, it appears that the hills are ablaze
Good Morning State College, PA. Have a great day.
