We loved working with @UAB_FB around @RickwoodField and #ValleyCreek to remove 50.4 lbs of litter dominated by weightless but harmful #plastic! Learn about #microplastics in this report by our @uabsoph intern Samuel Stowe: blackwarriorriver.org/microp…

Yeah I don’t want to see Memphis fans talking trash about anyone else’s crowd again this year. 🤣

UAB basketball has consistently punched above its weight under Andy Kennedy.
But Tim Stephens’ article shows how difficult that becomes as the financial gap widens.
Sustained success requires more than a great coach. It requires an institution willing to invest in athletics.
Andy Kennedy isn't making excuses. He's doing math. UAB basketball has been a consistent winner from the day it bought a basketball. Now is the time for the administration to protect one of its most valuable assets by investing in it:

Blazers just got a commitment from probably a true freshman TE1! Let’s go! Truly love that he has just as much blocking chops as he does big play chops!!

Loved this response from @UAB_FB DB Jo’Tavion Pierce in Thursday’s postgame presser. This is Birmingham’s Team and it’s time for the community to recognize that. There is nothing but appreciation shown from the team to the community and it’s time for the community to reciprocate.
Honorable Mention POTW 🔥: Joe P!

UAB basketball season (unofficially) begins tonight at Vanderbilt.
How refreshing is it to enter basketball season genuinely excited about football, too?
The Blazers are 4-3, bowl eligibility is within reach, and they’re still in the conference title race.
It’s been a while.
