The descriptor file is what stops most people from trying multisig.
It lists every signer's public key and the wallet's rules. Lose it and two of three recovery phrases won't let you spend. @Blockstream Jade stores it on device, making more advanced self-custody easier and safer.

2FA emails for multisig accounts now arrive from

They used to show as GreenAddress. Same address, new sender name. If a code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder.

@BlockstreamApp (formerly green wallet) has multisig 2fa feature. if you were using a HWW which turned out to have a hardware bug, using @blockstream wallet (and turn on 2fa eg google auth), you would have a last line of defense: the seed alone does not allow theft of funds.

The Bitcoin class at @Columbia University just wrapped.
We supplied every student with a Blockstream Jade hardware wallet and supplies so they could go hands-on instead of just reading slides.
The class has now ended, and the feedback from the teacher was exactly what we hoped for.
That's the whole mission. Real hardware, real seed phrases, in the hands of the people who'll be building on this in ten years.
Supplying a classroom takes support. If you want to help us do the next one, donate at bitcoinedfoundation.org/dona…
Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen 👇
