Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.

If there was ever a player you’d want to see win an award and finally get the recognition he deserves it’s Harry Kane. A top professional who has consistently let his football do the talking. A stellar season and a thoroughly deserved Ballon d’Or.👏

I know Mahomes played like crap (especially in the 2nd quarter) but based on the way he’s being talked about tonight, I don’t think people have watched what he’s done the first 5 games of the season. Or just completely forgot about it. Like, good lord.

Honestly the problem at United goes far beyond Carrick. They could bring in whoever they want but nothing will fundamentally change until there’s a complete change of ownership and a new direction at the top. As a City fan though, I hope they continue to sink even further. Long may the rot continue.
Emotional exit by Michael Carrick as fans sing his name. A farewell? Supporters turn on players once Carrick down tunnel. #MUFC

3-0 Bournemouth. Lammens caught in no man’s land. Carrick looks like he’s about to cry. Thank you for the memories Carrick. 🥹💔

Donnarumma can’t play with his feet, can’t claim corners or crosses and now can’t even make the simple saves. But yeah he’ll make the occasional highlight save for the comps.

The Trafford stylistic debate is irrelevant at the moment. Problem is that Donnarumma is just letting in soft goals and isn't actually being good at what he's meant to be like. Largely most of us would not give a shit about his footwork if he wasn't letting in goals like that.

Donnarumma and Guehi. No matter what we do as long as these two are starting for us it simply won’t be enough. I’m tired man

I really don’t understand why Maresca keeps trying this Enzo and Anderson with Cherki at the 10 experiment. It’s not going to work. The midfield balance is off. If you want to play Enzo that badly then play Bouaddi alongside Anderson.

Marc Guehi simply shouldn’t be starting for us. You cannot win a title with a player like that. At this level the margins are too fine and he’s just not good enough.

Cherki makes it 3-1! But honestly it annoys me how easily we concede goals at home. It’s becoming a frustrating pattern

Another goal for Foden! You can see his confidence is coming back, and that bodes well for us. More than anything I’m just happy to see him enjoying his football again. When Foden is playing with that freedom, confidence and smile, you know what he’s capable of.

The point isn’t “Brighton can’t have a good run” The point is come January, players will be bought by those “bigger” clubs. As a result, Brighton will likely never consistently challenge for titles The only time we’ll see a non “red” winner will be a Leicester situation
2nd place Brighton currently making a mockery of the so called 'cartel' claims where teams are apparently unable to challenge under the current rules. Running a club well goes a long way it turns out .....
