Madeley pushing the "welfare spending is out of control" narrative again this morning.
As a % of GDP, welfare spending is lower than it was 10 years ago.
Facts don't matter any more. They've been replaced by opinions. Often ill-informed opinions from prats like Madeley.

80% of "donations" to Nigel Farage’s party are from donors or companies based overseas.
This is not normal.
And the public deserves to know what these super-rich donors want back in return.

An endless succession of MPs on the news, from all the main parties and Reform, saying the welfare bill must be brought down and "people on sick benefits must be got into work."
They are NEVER challenged on the fact there are already 1.7m people chasing under 700k vacancies.

We have a Primeminister that wants to do the best for the United Kingdom! A PM that will put country before party! A PM that believes in us & a PM that believes in a positive future for all!
So I'm gonna ask the far left & far right - What's your problem with that?

🔴@Helen_Whately, Shadow Secretary of State for Work & Pensions, has claimed £2 MILLION expenses in 10 years.
£300,000 relates to her own travel and accommodation - yet she only lives 50 miles from London.
Her boss, @KemiBadenoch has 3 children, claims £2.7K per month to rent a 6 bed farmhouse & tried to claim expenses for a family holiday.
The country can't afford these @Conservatives.

Andy Burnham, "Can I tell her who supports what we are doing?"
"The CBI, the Federation of Small Business, the British Retail Consortium, Asda, Morrisons, M&S, Salmon Scotland"
"They all support what we're trying to do"
"Why doesn't she join with us and send a strong message that Britain is calling for a better Brexit deal so we can get growth going again"
My view;
The Conservatives once built their reputation on being the party that understood business.
Now they’re defending a system that leaves businesses buried in friction and paperwork, while the people who actually represent employers are asking for a better arrangement.
That’s quite a fall: from championing enterprise to becoming the party of red tape.

- Bolsanaro has lost in Brazil
- the Student List took Serbia
- Tommy Robinson could well be sent down
- Standards will find Farage guilty
- Netanyahu will likely lose
- Trump will be screwed in the mid terms
Interesting time to be alive
