Texas you referenced alone produces about 6m barrels per day, we barely net 700k per day for 250m population
Stop being dishonest cos of politics
Some of us held you in high regard before you started promoting a premium DULLARD to take over Nigerian Presidency
Quit the foolery Sir!
The United States has a population of over 300 million people, yet some oil-producing states have systems that turn oil wealth into educational benefits for their citizens. In Alaska, residents receive annual dividends from the state's oil-funded Permanent Fund. In Texas, oil and gas revenue helps support public schools and universities. Stop defending politicians that are making you live a low quality life, you're a citizen of of a country blessed with valuable mineral resources for crying out loud.
You charge btw 10-16m per annum for your LBS programs but want university education to continue to remain ridiculously low at 25k per annum with our 1.5mbpd for 250m people and somehow miraculously want the schools to be in session uninterruptedlyā¦
The dishonesty in you elites for Political reasons is highly infuriating
Norway uses its oil wealth to support public services, including education. Young Norwegian students can attend public universities without tuition fees, while children benefit from free public primary and secondary education. Nigeria is also an oil-producing country, we should borrow a leaf from Norway and turn our oil wealth into better schools, affordable university education, and opportunities for young people.
Our natural resources should improve the lives of our people, not just enrich a few, stop defending the politicians who are impoverishing you with their inhumane policies.
Nigerians who live in a working nation assumes everything working there, are working on a paltry pricingā¦
Nothing of value ever comes cheap.
Itās either itās financed by high taxes, interest bearing/free loan(eg NELFUND), or self funded..
In economics, You donāt force things to be artificially low, you improve accessibility and quality through funding mechanisms to ultimately improve affordability (which happens gradually when you produce
graduates within stipulated time and with reasonably good output)ā¦
This should be a no-brainer for educated folks but Iām having to explain this to a DOCTORā¦
Let me explain this to you assuming you have a brain to comprehend it.
Before Tinubu came, you donāt need a loan to attend a federal university.
Tinubu himself (during their days) attended university FREE. They even gave them food.
During my years, got Admission into OAU in 2004. I paid 2,450 as school fees. I received bursary (free money). For the state, itās about 5,000 and the federal is around that range.
So the loan youāre celebrating was given to us free in multiple folds.
Thatās why people like me are Sad when I see you celebrating your Captivity.
What Tinubu did was, he made school fees price unbearable and made you indebted with nothing to show for it.
Thatās 1.5m families and about 3m votes

āStupidityā of the federal government gave Abia the financial muscle to move from a state owing salaries to one buying buses and building infrastructures..
Itās why Otti supports the president but you lots are too dull to understand this
Replying to @Kdimeji
Itās not about who pioneered it.
Itās about how people in Abia are taking buses anywhere in the state for #150 despite the madness from the federal government with this fuel prices.
Itās about how theyāre enjoying sanity in the chaos.
Thatās what governance is all about. Cushioning the effect of the stupidity of the federal government.

My dear brother Donald Duke @Donald_Duke,
Some years ago, you and I travelled along the stretch of the coastline where this road now runs, and I clearly remember your praise for the vision behind it. That is why your recent comments surprised me.
Yes, the Coastal Highway is expensive. We agree on that. But nothing of lasting value in this world is cheap or free. Great nations are built by leaders willing to make bold, costly investments that will serve generations yet unborn.
Mr. President committed to funding this project, and he is keeping that commitment. There is no funding shortfall. The work is progressing, and the quality of construction is second to none.
When Governor Douye Diri commended the road, he was not speaking as a local champion; he was speaking as a statesman who recognises infrastructure of international standard when he sees it. I agree with him completely.
Donald, I understand that you are running for president, and that your statement is political. That is the nature of the season, and I respect your right to make your case to Nigerians. But we must be careful never to undermine a project of national importance, or the President delivering it, simply for political advantage.
When mankind went to the moon, it was neither cheap nor free. But it was necessary. So is this road.
And they work in UBA, Dangote and First bank
