As a solo creator trying to learn to make games, I vow to never use AI generation in my art, even if every other developer in the world is doing it.
Customers have the right to make informed purchasing decisions, just like with age ratings or DRM.
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.

I gave this build everything I could, and even though there is still a long road ahead, I’m extremely happy with how far PS5X360 has come.

🏠 A completely new home screen inspired by the Xbox 360 dashboard
🎮 Improved controller handling and fixes for games that wouldn’t recognize START/input correctly
🪟 Xbox 360-style system dialogs for profiles, saves, messages and keyboard input
⚙️ Per-game core settings + graphics presets for around 220 games
🛠️ More loading, graphical and compatibility fixes
🌐 Xenia Netplay + System Link support — still experimental on PS5
🎨 New UI across the emulator, including a redesigned in-game Guide
📀 Support for launching your own Xbox 360 dashboard through "dash.xex"
🧠 Updated to a newer Xenia Canary core
And compatibility work continues.
I know there are still games that won’t work perfectly — PS5X360 is based on Xenia, and even Xenia itself is not compatible with everything yet. But I’ll keep fighting to get more and more games running properly on PS5.

I’m working as hard as I can to fix bugs and implement improvements, but I want to be clear that I still can’t guarantee every game will work perfectly on the first try.
