Good. Chilling how these people are casually advocating for suppression of freedom of speech.

C-22 is looking like a huge mistake. It worries me a great deal. There is so much nonsense in there that It may well end up dealing a death blow to Canadian tech viability.
We won't be far behind if C-22 passes. In its current state, VPNs would almost certainly require us to log identifying user data.
Signal isn't headquartered in Canada so they can just shut off Canadian servers, but our HQ is. We pay an ungodly amount of taxes to this corrupt government, and in return they want to destroy the entire essence of our service to basically spy on its own citizens.
Not happening. We'll move HQ and take our taxes elsewhere.

"My first instinct was exactly what such people would delight in happening. To watch the rest of us recoil, then retract, and perhaps even eject. To leave the internet for a while or forever. But I can't do that. We shouldn't do that." world.hey.com/dhh/words-are-…

Don't miss out on parenthood. I guarantee you that no amount of "personal freedom" is worth more than the existential delight of embracing your offspring like this.

Shopify: The Boring Edition.
We focused on the hard and unsexy work of nailing the basics, getting all the parts of Shopify to work seamlessly together, and run at tip top performance. You've got to sweat the details.

BFCM Live on the @SphereVegas
And I mean truly live! It turns out that the Sphere can be powered by the Unreal Engine, so of course we had to go there. Place an order from your phone, see it arc in front of you!

Here we go!
🌐 BFCM weekend has officially started in the first time zones, so let's go live.
This is the best Live Globe experience yet. Beautiful. And what's even better than a bfcm globe? One in a room full with toys and tools to make it your own. We may have gotten a little bit carried away there... 😇
