Buckminster Fuller's 1967 idea that wealth is energy, not gold, and should be scientifically accounted for.
Sounds a lot like Bitcoin's foundation, as Bitcoin uses energy (Proof-of-Work) to create verifiable digital scarcity, effectively turning "energy + science" (computing power/algorithms) into a new, transparent form of wealth/value, unlike traditional gold-backed systems.
While Fuller envisioned a physical world resource accounting, Bitcoin applies this principle digitally.

The answer was a negative number
