One heck of a story!! Pit boss to casino owner and that casino is the best in downtown LV for casual players!!
El Cortez owner Kenny Epstein was the pit boss in the baccarat section at @CaesarsPalace in 1970 when Frank Sinatra fought the casino over betting limits.
Frank Sinatra was given a $8K limit at a $4K table just for him. Sinatra wanted a higher limit than $8K but Kenny Epstein insisted that $8K was the highest he could allow, which was double the maximum limit for everyone else.
Frank Sinatra threatened to stop performing at Caesars Palace and eventually talked to Caesars vice president Sanford Waterman about the table limit which ended with Waterman pulling a gun on Sinatra.
Sanford Waterman was later booked on assault with a deadly weapon (.38 caliber pistol) and released on bail. Charges were dropped in part because Sinatra would not give a statement.
Sinatra would continue to perform at Caesars Palace for many years but Kenny Epstein was told by executives to take a week off to let things cool down.
El Cortez turned 85 years old today. Owner Kenny Epstein (now also 85 years old) talking about El Co three years ago.

Not surprisingly that PH / Miracle Mile area comes in the lowest on average with La Fontaine being the priciest. In fairness it comes with pancakes and more, but it's their most basic option.

These events in Saudi Arabia with the @WWE always kinda make me shake my head…..I know it’s TONS of money for the company….but the @WWE is supporting the fact that it’s an all male attendance event….maybe 10 total women who most likely have some connection to politics to be allowed there. You just can’t campaign for anti bullying and freedom and rights for all 11 1/2 months out of the year and then take the huge pay check to look the other way the next 15 days. Even some of the wrestlers don’t want to attend. Money talks and it always will. #CrownJewel

The great state of @california and their cities just deserve to get what they vote for….the majority of voters just deserve to continue to suffer due to their blind loyalty to party politics.
