This week, we spoke to the BBC about how we want greater public control over our buses 🚌 people deserve a reliable network, and franchising would allow decisions to be made by elected representatives. The WECA Mayor should use the Bus Plan to set a timetable for public control📅

Imagine giving 53 years to your party, then being told you can't stand because you believe in human rights.
The Tories have lost a decent man & a powerful voice for London.
Yet again, Badenoch’s Conservatives are happy to chase Reform UK and exclude tolerant, liberal Londoners

I have enormous respect for Andrew Boff. From defending Trans rights to backing fairer votes and the ECHR, he's a man of principle. A Conservative Party that can't accommodate lifelong Tories like him isn't worthy of its name. It's now just a second-rate Reform tribute act.

Kemi Badenoch says anyone who wants to stand as a Conservative candidate at the next election must support her plan to withdraw from the ECHR.
Last week, a number of her MPs didn’t vote for her flagship policy.
Will she withdraw the whip?

I’m sorry to read that Richard Tice’s commute to Parliament from Dubai is proving so difficult.
British Airways is an embarrassing disgrace of an airline @British_Airways
Routinely selling many more tickets than seats, putting lots of passengers on standby who bought tickets months ago, a woeful customer attitude of ‘shrug shrug, not my job’ 🤷♂️
Then not sending the luggage of standby passengers: one case may arrive on next flight an hour later, 1 case shrug shrug wait until tomorrow afternoon when it may or may not arrive 🤷♂️
Britain is Broken

The PM has announced the plan to scrap first past the post. Of course we’ve been here before.
Don’t let the Labour gov’t backtrack again.
Seats that match votes would change British politics for good, but only if it happens. Sign the petition. 🖊️

We managed to get this prioritised. 💪
Great to see the zebra crossing on Sandy Park Road getting a much-needed repaint. We’ve been pestering the council for months so we are pleased this is finally happening. #working4you
