This is not a photograph, and it's not an oil painting either. Believe it or not, every ripple in this was painted in watercolor...
It's called Vågskvalp, the Swedish word for the little waves that lap against a shore, and Anders Zorn painted it in 1887 in the Stockholm archipelago.
A woman stands at the edge of a jetty beside a boat, and everything around her is moving: the reflections, the ripples, the water knocking softly against the wood.
Years later, looking back on that summer, Zorn explained the whole painting in a single line: "Once again, it was the play of the water that drew me down to the jetty."

To address this funding gap, @NeriOxman, under the auspices of the @PershingSqFdn Pershing Square Philanthropies, launched the MIND (Maximizing Innovation in Neuroscience Discovery) Prize in 2022 to support innovative and early-stage research into diseases of the brain. The six winners of this year’s prize each receive $750k of funding for their research.

A big reason why she came to dislike these intelligence services was because she went to Iraq and fought there when Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, George Bush, and Dick Cheney were sending her there.
She realized that she was sent there on false pretenses, but she stayed in the army. She's in the Army Reserves as a lieutenant colonel to this day.
Imagine being her and hearing all these people who constantly cheered for wars but never went and fought in them, questioning her patriotism and her loyalties by fabricating this claim that she's a Russian asset.
If you listen to these interviews where they call her that, the one that thing is missing is any basis whatsoever for accusing her of being that.
It's just an accusation that is deemed acceptable and true, but no evidence is required."

Tulsi Gabbard opposed President Obama and the CIA's efforts to partner with ISIS and Al Qaeda in an attempt to overthrow Assad in Syria.
She understood from first-hand experience the catastrophic consequences of the Middle East wars and didn't want us to repeat them.
She also criticized the U.S. foreign policy establishment for blocking the Istanbul Peace Deal between Ukraine and Russia at the start of the war because she didn't want Ukraine to be destroyed in a proxy war between superpowers.
In response, Hillary Clinton, the Democrat Party, and the corporate media continue to fabricate the baseless narrative that Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset.
This is yet another iteration of the "Russia, Russia, Russia" hoax—a strategy the Washington D.C. political establishment has repeatedly deployed against its opponents over the past decade.
Tulsi Gabbard would make an excellent Director of National Intelligence.
Her firsthand experience with the realities of war, her service on the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees in Congress, and her healthy skepticism of intelligence agencies that have misled the American public into decades of disastrous wars make her uniquely qualified for the role.
