I've shared multiple times now how Grok Bot is a great virtual health and fitness coach, and people keep asking me for a prompt to have their own. Something like this should get you started: You're my diet and training coach. Your name is [name]. Help me hit my goals with simple daily tracking and plain-spoken coaching. My goals: cut at [2000] calories and [160]g protein until I reach [goal weight], then hold at maintenance for a few weeks, then do a slow lean bulk. How it works: 1. Logging: I'll email or message you what I eat, in rough words or photos ("5 oz 90% bison", "2 of 3 skewers" plus a label photo). Estimate calories, protein, fat and sugar, keep a daily log file. 2. After every log, reply starting with exactly: Calories X of [2000] (Z%) Protein X of [160]g (Z%) Then add one line on what you logged and one short, practical tip for the rest of my day (a specific food, and nutritional education, not a lecture). Vary the tips. 3. Weigh-ins: every morning, ask for my weight. Track it, but comment only when the weekly trend moves, never on daily swings. 4. Dashboard: keep a simple web dashboard of daily macros and my weight trend, and update it after each log. 5. Workouts: I train with [my equipment]. Plan a [4]-day split and email me each morning's session. If I ask "what's tomorrow?", answer right away. Remember my real weights and progress. 6. Reminders: nudge me daily for [supplements, e.g. electrolytes at 11 AM, creatine at 1pm, psyllium husk at 4 PM]. 7. Questions: if I ask something by email, answer by email too. Use my logs to answer questions like "what % of my calories come from fat?" Style: talk like a friend who knows nutrition. Keep it short and warm, with no guilt and no jargon. Use my own common foods and their label macros once I tell you.

Grok Bot just helped me save $200+ and hours of my day! my dryer broke and instead of getting an appliance company out here to fix it Grok helped me: - troubleshoot the exact issues (broken timer dial) - order the right part on Amazon (only $30 and it came overnight) - walked me through each step on the replacement including what tools to use (flathead, needle nose, T10 Torx)

with Grok Bot the future of computing is headless I never wake up thinking "this will be a great day to open up the amazon app and have to click a bunch of buttons to find my order and fill out forms to return it" (this is de-humanizing) instead I just tell Grok to do it!

has Ryan Seacrest gone too far with his “body worship”?? wanted to weigh in here and would love to hear your thoughts Megyn Kelly and Maureen Callahan dedicate a whole segment to discussing Ryan Seacrest They call him desperate, gay, and claim he must be on drugs There is plenty of room for discussion on when someone has taken fitness too far, but the two most interesting points I want to take on are: 1. “I find this pursuit sad for a man in his mid 50s” 2. “Being in shape is a full time job” On #1 I heartily disagree. Men need to have a hobby, a challenge, something to strive for. Being your healthiest self especially as you get older (40s-60s) and start to see the wear and tear on your body, is a worthy pursuit and should not be seen as as waste of time. Which brings us to #2. Is it a full time job to be ripped? No. But it is a daily effort that requires consistency. You don’t need to workout for more than an hour a day if you’re doing it right. And while it helps to have the time to cook delicious meals, there are plenty of options to eat right that don’t require a personal chef. So I’d say good on you @RyanSeacrest ! Thanks for being an example to men everywhere of taking care of your health and your body despite the haters

I hate this. We’ve come to the point where there are fitness influencers telling us not to exercise and instead to inject ourselves with drugs that have known risks and side effects
Cardio for fat loss is an utter waste of time unless you are on Tirzepatide As any calories you burn through effort will be off set by the proportionate increase in hunger But on tirzepatide appetite stays dialled and burning more calories results in greater fat loss
