Tall, dark & handsome (but gave sloppy kisses). Loved ducks, naps, car rides & treats. Perpetually happy, undeniably spoiled & unconditionally loved for ever.

Today was Wally's Gotcha Day, 6 years ago. He'd have been 7 in January. I'll miss him for ever. @freekoreandogs @CanadaWestVets

🚨 We urgently need blankets at our Philadelphia headquarters! 🚨
Our Animal Law Enforcement team recently rescued a large group of cats, many of whom are battling panleukopenia, a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease.
The cats are being cared for in isolation areas, and our team is taking every precaution to protect them and the other animals in our care. Staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict cleaning and sanitation protocols to help prevent the virus from spreading. We take the health and safety of every animal here incredibly seriously.
As part of these precautions, we have to throw away the blankets these cats use during each cleaning to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. This means we’re going through blankets much faster than usual and urgently need donations to help keep our cats warm and comfortable.
If you have extra blankets to spare, we could really use them right now! Donations can be dropped off at 350 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134. You can also shop our Amazon wishlist: amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2Y…
Thank you for always showing up for the animals who need us most! ❤️

Good luck Perlita! A beautiful name for a beautiful girrrrl ❤️💕
Perlita is ready for the season . She’s a good girl who had a tough life down south. The dogs we pick up down south are abused, neglected ,starved, have no vetting &live scared to death every day outside on the run. She deserves the best home. In Harrisburg PA #boxerdogs #adoptme

Brandy was a stray to shelter at a poor rural southern shelter. She’s young girl. Dog friendly. She’s currently in a kennel on Long Island since we have very little help &a handful of fosters. Can you foster or adopt this sweet girl? She deserves a great life #boxerdogs #dogsofx

A 90 second tour of some of our very sickest new arrivals.
Every dog in this video would be in huge trouble (a couple would be dead) were it not for the medial care.
Some very special dogs here ❤️

Helping dogs is tough work, but it brings out the most beautiful moments of joy. 🤍
Whether it is our vet team providing urgent care or local community members stepping up to support these pups, there is always a smile to be found. Seeing the relief on the dogs' faces and the pure happiness from the people who love them makes every long day completely worth it. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours.

At an overcrowded shelter in #Memphis, #TN, 3-year-old Bardia Sam is in IMMEDIATE need of adoption, a foster home, or rescue adoptapet.com/pet/49165514-m… #URGENT #AdoptableDogofDay 🐶
Oh!!! Frank is handsome AF!! Look at that human-like stare. He knows you're coming for him.
Frank is a 1/2 yr old boxer boy who arrived at a southern shelter with a cheap flea collar on. No one came for him but we did. He is now playing with other digs in our boarding facility for $26 a day on Long Island. A small price to save a life. Vetted and sweet. #whiteboxerdogs
Good advice! I just told my Human 🙏
You just never know when you'll need to become a rescuer, so the most important thing to have in your car is a leash, or even better, a Lucky Leash! Get yours here: HopeForPaws.org/lucky_leash 🌺
Thank you so much for following our work! 💝 💞 💖

As you know, I lost my little Wally in October after a long fight by @CanadaWestVets to save him. He died after 4 operations/2 mos of hospitalization. Thanks to @Trupanion I didn't bear the financial burden alone. I'll NEVER not insure another pet. refer.trupanion.com/trishm-1…
Gorgeous
This new little guy(name was offensive) was born last Feb. He’s already going on home no 2. The owner lost her job. He came with no vetting. He’s in our boarding kennel we were afraid they would give him away for free to just anyone. #fosterme #adoptme #boxerdogs #dogsofx
Can you believe dogs like this one are abandoned every day here every day?? They just wouldn't have a chance without our supporters! 😨

SO beautiful!! Hi Dimples!!! 👋💕
Dimples is officially available for adoption!
After several weeks in the care of our veterinary team, this sweet Frenchie is finally ready to find a forever home.
Dimples is a friendly, loving girl who could fit into many different kinds of homes. What she needs most is a family who understands that she has some extra medical needs and is committed to working closely with their veterinarian to give her the care she deserves.
She is currently taking steroids and eating a prescription diet, both of which may need to continue for the rest of her life. She may also need additional diagnostic testing down the road.
Dimples may need a little extra care, but she gives you so much in return. After everything she has been through, she deserves a family who will see those extra needs not as a burden, but as one more reason to love her.
She is worth it. And we can't wait to see her finally get the happy ending she's been waiting for.

HOW do you leave your dog behind? How? 💔
My human can barely go to the gym without her eyes welling up with tears at me pretending I'll die of sorrow if she leaves for an hour
