Everyone keeps talking about America building again, but it’s just not going to happen like they think. even if they ease regulations. Once they deport workers, there’s going to be a massive labor gap, and no one seems to be addressing it. Tradespeople don’t appear overnight. It takes years to build a workforce but only days to enter it.
Some of us live in the Trades daily, for years, or grew up around it our entire lives and we know the issue well, the young people aren’t entering the trades like we need and schools won’t even put shop classes back into classrooms. You can’t just sit and tell everyone we have enough workers when we DO NOT. I wish more people would share this because repeating the same warning over and over is getting exhausting.
