After been the boss of the PGMOL and a Referee on the Premier League and FIFA InternationalPanel for ten years. I fully understand the criteria of operation of VAR. I also know that the ref got it wrong He got it wrong 100%
Replying to @HACKETTREF
I don't think you understand what VAR is there for. Ref backed his on-field decision. Move on.

On Remembrance Sunday, before the arrival of politicians at the cenotaph, members of regional police forces, St John's Ambulance Service and others had their photos taken in Downing Street. And of the Chief Cutie @Number10cat did his duty and posed with them. Lovely to watch.

Sean Dyche has been strongly speculated as Nottingham Forest's next boss should Ange leave. For two key reasons, he could turn out to be the perfect fit after all.
His Forest education goes way back. Doing the great Brian Clough's garden as a club youngster, he learnt the club ethos of hard work and humility to get results. He would also bring two club legends to the City Ground: assistant Ian Woan and first-team coach Steve Stone. They've racked up hundreds of appearances for Forest - yet also boast years of Prem experience together as coaches.
At Everton, he came in with the club in a tough predicament of low morale and little budget, yet he got the survival job done. At Turf Moor, he moved mountains, going from Championship relegation favourites upon arriving to vying for Europe, having spent little to nothing and possessing a small squad. At Forest, he would be given a sizeable budget and proper squad depth with many established internationals in the ranks already.
Despite Ange only taking charge in September, seven games without a win have seen frustration grow. With boos and ‘sacked in the morning’ chants echoing around the City Ground, unity has quickly turned to chaos, and short-term stability is now desperately needed.
Not only would he likely keep Forest from flirting with the bottom three as a proven relegation expert, he would finally have a decent crack in Europe. And a once Cloughie graduate succeeding in Europe for Forest would be a hell of a story unearthed. #NFFC 🔴
