THREAD 🧵 On this International Women’s Day, I’d like to take this opportunity to talk to you about something. I’ve discovered something incredible about Alba (Larsen) At the age of 15, Alba set up Girls International Racing Lab, a community aimed at helping young girls discover motorsport. Through this community, Alba organises events such as go-karting sessions, meet-ups…. By organising races, meet-ups and mentoring sessions with Alba and other role models, the initiative has already engaged over 400 girls and young women in Denmark alone & Alba’s goal for this year is to reach 15,000 girls around the world. In 2025, Alba received the FIA Women in Motorsport Award, as they recognised the impact G.I.R.L. was already having and the pathway it was starting to open up for young girls looking at racing for the first time follow the thread

Franck Sanchez & Diego Tondi 👏👏 Don’t forget these names either, they’ve done an incredible job throughout the entire season. They deserve to be put in the spotlight too, especially Franck Sanchez, who only joined the team in July 2025 🙌 #F1

You have no idea how happy I am that the real Charles is back. The confident Charles, the Charles who makes no mistakes when he feels confident in the car. The consistent Charles. And despite suffering two DNFs due to reliability issues, he is still fighting for P2 in the championship. Honestly, a lot of people talk about his performances, but Charles’s season is so underrated. People only look at the results, and they’re right to do so, but you also have to look at the way he’s been performing. Charles is having a very strong season. The way he has worked day after day, week after week, month after month, trying to adapt to these new regulations. He even had to change his brakes, and he’s still managing to perform at an incredibly high level. So many people doubted him when things weren’t going well, but he stayed focused in his own little bubble. While everyone was criticising him, he stayed silent and kept working to find solutions. Everyone thought he would never be able to bounce back with the CI discs, and some even said that if Rosberg couldn’t do it, why would Charles be able to? And yet, we all know how important Brembo discs are to Charles. Those discs and brakes are part of Charles’s DNA. And despite being forced to change his brakes, he still managed to win straight away. The number of hours he spends at Maranello in the simulator or working with the engineers is just insane. The difficulties he faced from Canada to Silverstone have transformed him as a driver. He has learned so much from that, even though he didn't deserve to go through it. His season, in terms of maturity, talent and leadership, has been simply incredible. As always. And it’s not over yet!!!

Q : The improved pace from the Ferrari car lately, kind of getting better and better. What feels better about the car in these past couple of weeks, and do you think you can convert that into a win within the next couple of races? 🆑 : « Whether I can convert that into a win is a bit difficult to predict, because it's such fine margins, and it also depends on what the upgrade plans of the others are in upcoming races. But the feeling with the car is getting better and better. These cars are very specific and unique, and I feel like, over the last two or three races, I've unlocked something again in terms of driving, and particularly set-up with my driving. Just both together, we've taken a step forward, and I just feel much more comfortable with the car. So I hope that this will result in a win soon. Whether it's in Singapore or here in Austin, we were quite close, so I'm confident that we'll have a shot to win a race before the end of the season. »

Charles is now officially the second Ferrari driver in history with the most podiums. Only Michael Schumacher is ahead of him. ❤️

Charles : « I knew it was going to be tight. Max is an animal on track, and I feel like sometimes when I close the visor, I can be that as well. And that's why it's exciting, because I know he's not gonna leave me much space, and the same I will do for him, but it was good to end up on top after those first few corners, but then he surprised me again in turn 15. But I don't think I would have kept him behind because I had very low battery. So I probably will have struggled to keep him behind later on.But still, he surprised me in turn 15. » 🎤 « We love your fights together. Great to see. » 🆑 « I enjoyed it too. » #F1 #USGP 🇺🇸

Charles : « I told my engineers for 2–3 races, I finally feel that this car, that is very weird, and I don’t mean our Ferrari but the current regulations’ cars, I feel like I UNLOCKED SOMETHING, and I believe it was better. We put it in the right window today. I think it was a very a very good race, then of course a bit disappointing with the second place at the end because we are here to win as you said, but at the same time I feel like we have maximized what we what we had a good car balance overall, the feeling with the car was great » #F1 #USGP 🇺🇸

Charles about the start : « That was fun. I had quite a good start then I didn't want to break too late for turn 1 just to keep an opportunity of trying to cross back in the exit of turn 1, but Lewis got very, very close and then I used a little bit more of my battery to get alongside Max in turns 3, 4, and 5. And then I didn't really know how it will go, but it was quite close, but it was fun. » #F1 #USGP 🇺🇸
