Yes, exactly. Colorado has ALREADY decided who counts as a woman—anyone who says they’re a woman. 🤦🏼♀️ The STATE has forced props 134 & 135 to be necessary by legally recognizing gender identity, including biological males who say they are women.

The Troutman Police Department will no longer authorize its officers to work off-duty security assignments at meetings of the Iredell-Statesville Schools Board of Education.
Recent incidents have raised concerns about the legal basis for requested removals, the protection of Constitutional rights, and the expectations placed on officers assigned to these meetings.

This shouldn’t have to be a partisan issue.
I’m the parent of a trans child and a cis child who plays sports, so I see both sides personally.
I want my trans child protected from hostility and exclusion.
I also believe girls deserve fair competition and reasonable privacy in sex-separated spaces.
Those principles do not have to conflict.
Proposition 134 is not a blanket ban on trans kids playing sports. It would restrict sex-specific teams based on biological sex, while still allowing participation on teams corresponding to biological sex or on mixed/coed teams where available.
Biological sex can matter in athletics, especially after puberty, and acknowledging that does not require demeaning transgender people or denying anyone’s dignity.
What I reject is turning either group of children into the enemy.
Girls should not be called hateful for wanting fair sex-based competition, and trans kids should not be portrayed as threats.
We should be able to protect girls’ opportunities, protect trans kids’ dignity, and debate this respectfully.
