Approach with caution or you’ll see very bad things.
I really underestimated hizi tuchoo twa village until it’s time to actually build one.
Now I’m getting some very interesting prices and I’m starting to feel like I’m being conned. One constructor told me 100K, the lowest I’ve heard is 75K.
We’re talking about 2 toilets + 1 bathroom. Nothing fancy.
Constructors and fundis, gather here please.
How much should I realistically budget for this project, including labour and materials?

HOW DO you draft a bill that proposes to regulate 5 different built environment professions then call it ‘Architectural and Quantity Surveyors Practitioners Bill?’ How disingenuous?
A few people at BORAQS/Public works cannot just sit in a boardroom and make unilateral decisions on the sector without consultations. Ostensibly to protect their jobs and expired self interests. This bill in its current form will be a disaster for construction & real estate sector, it’s worse than what we have.
We are going to oppose it legally, spiritually, economically, socially; we will be back on the streets if we have to; we will camp at parliament if that is what it will take. Withdraw the bill and carry out extensive industry consultation first.
