Almost everything we build - we hand all the money to foreigners. Hence our infrastructure projects don't do much locally.

In a bank, I only need a payslip to get a loan.
In a SACCO, if you need 600k loan, you will be required to first give the sacco 200k and thereafter go through out the village collecting signatures like someone who is initiating a referendum.
And I have never understood; I am in need of 600k, unaniambia niweke 200k kwako kwanza ili unipatie 600k......si hapo ni kumaanisha umenipatia 400k?

If you’re more family-oriented and prefer a quieter lifestyle, Waiyaki Way is worth considering. If you want a bit of both, with access to clubbing and a family-friendly environment, Kiambu Road is a good middle ground.
If convenience to work is your priority, I’d pick Kileleshwa over Kilimani. Kilimani has its fair share of noise and water issues.
If you’re working with a middle-class budget, look at Lower Kabete, Limuru Road, Ngong Road and Naivasha Road.

Contractors absence from Site despite having been paid; lack of key contract staff are delaying Completion of Projects and will not be tolerated.
When a contractor is absent from a site even after payments have been made, the site engineer must take immediate steps to document the situation, maintain quality control, and protect the project schedule. Contractual clauses have to be invoked.
