Our website just got a major rework.
We updated our taglines, made the site more responsive & visually appealing, added interactive graphics and videos, renewed the documentation, added new sections, and improved SEO.
A big part of our journey has been discovering where our platform would be needed most, so all of our experience here in UAE has been added to the new site.
Now we're much more focused. Check it out!

Prediction:
This kind of hyper realistic humanoid robot is going to be viscerally rejected in the future in all industries but one 🤫
Outside of that one industry^, it's likely people will at first be curious, and then become annoyed at lookalike robots the same way people get annoyed at AI slop today.
Nothing more frustrating than wanting to talk to a human and getting a bot. No one's gonna trust/respect/befriend a robot, no matter how human-like it looks.
This:
My advice to any Physical AI companies or robotics researchers in the US…
Get out, now.
The good news is we have space and robots at @Auki , so come to Hong Kong.
I’m now making the popcorn, ready for the retaliatory bans and tariffs from China.
LITERALLY every single robotics engineer I've ever spoken to in my life has all agreed that:
1. Robots are all designed/coded/operated differently from manufacturer to manufacturer (and sometimes even from model to model!), and
2. There is no way to have these robots talk to each other or often even work with your business without writing custom code or switching constantly between control systems.
I've spoken to several dozen VCs/investors now and for some reason, I can't seem to get them to understand how massive of an opportunity this is.
A STANDARDIZED OPERATING LAYER FOR DIVERSE PHYSICAL AI SYSTEMS IS INEVITABLE.
[Product update]
Super excited to share that users can now upload maps and pick points of interest directly from the map.
Then, when teleoperating a robot later, they just click a button (one of the points of interest the user created) and the robot will autonomously navigate there. [See video.]
What does this mean?
It means we're making it EASY for any organization to use robot/physical AI technology.
You can teleoperate any robot using our customizable controls like a joystick or gaming controller, but even easier is clicking one button and watching the robot do the rest.
Use cases:
-retail (shelf auditing)
-construction (safety hazard monitoring)
-Agriculture
-Security
This belongs anywhere real-time intelligence is important.🤖🎮

Physical AI is moving from demos to real warehouse work.
2 product updates we're pushing this week at CTRL+R:
⚡ 2 way-audio for robots & users. You speak into your computer's mic and hear it coming from the robot. Likewise, the teleoperator will also be able to hear what the robot's microphone picks up.
We haven't explored these types of use cases yet, but this will be really good for managing long-distance relationships. FaceTime lets you see/hear who you're talking to, but CTRL+R would allow you to care for your elderly parents, play toss with your kids while you're on a business trip, massage your stressed out partner, etc.
⚡ Mini-map for teleoperation. Robot owners can upload a 2d map of the environment and then see that map—along with the robot's position in it—while teleoperating. Think: minimaps from something like COD or Halo.
Will update when it's fully pushed to production for everyone to try.
P.S. - about to massively expand our team here in Dubai 🤩
Spoke to @boosterobotics team today and they confirmed that yes, we did in fact host the WORLD'S FIRST remote robot soccer game with @Auki 😎
If you have robots and you want to eliminate distance as an obstacle, use CTRL+R 🎮
We may have just created the WORLD'S FIRST REMOTE ROBOT SOCCER GAME with @Auki 😱
We did it using CTRL+R software, Auki's robots & arena, google meet, and a few dozen community members calling from all over the world - Miami, Dubai, Manchester, D.C. and more.
All in real time.
AND this was our first time testing it out.
Only up from here🚀
Quick reminder that almost every robot manufacturer on earth has their own way to operate their robots.
👉There's no standardized operating layer for someone to operate multiple robots using one system.
But that's what we're building🤫
[ANOTHER PRODUCT UPGRADE]🤓
Now users can customize robot commands and bind them to handheld controllers or keyboards!
Currently you can operate robots on CTRL+R using a:
🕹️joystick (mobile + desktop),
⌨️keyboard (WASD+), and
🎮gaming controller (Xbox, logitech)
But it's gone far beyond just steering the robot now. You can map ANY command to a robot and activate it with the press of a button.
For instance, you could steer with the left joystick, jump with the A key, punch with B, take a screenshot with left bumper, and activate a voice command with right trigger.
Any action the robot can do can now be mapped to your favorite controller and configured however you want.
Why is this cool?
Most robots ship with a custom handheld controller. But what happens if you need multiple people to be able to use the robot and they aren't all in the same room together? Or what if you don't like the controller they give you or its configuration? Or what if you just want more options?
CTRL+R fixes all this. Use our platform to operate ANY robot, from ANYWHERE, EASILY.
Also we're continuously making it more and more customizable. VR headsets and haptic suits are next.
[PRODUCT UPDATE]
We've now got @nvidia's Isaac Sim up and running on CTRL+R ⚡
Now ANYONE can experience robot control—whether you have a robot or not.
This is perfect for industries like retail, construction, security etc. that typically don't already have robots but want to explore just how easy it can be.
It's also good for robotics teams that want to test other solutions without breaking company rules for downloading outside software onto the company hardware.
By the way our software is totally free to use.
Everyday we're removing friction with operating robots.

NEW PARTNERSHIP🚨
@Auki teams up with @CTRLR_cloud
This collaboration enables humans to remotely control robots from anywhere!
It’s essentially digital teleportation
Imagine working a robot-operated job in another country…
Without ever leaving your home!
The window for opportunity here is huge:
In my last post I broke down how this tech will be used for inspections in retail
But the use-cases don’t stop there…
On the entertainment side, check out this remote football demo from @Auki
Personally I’d love to able to tap in and fight in a robotics UFC style event
[🤖] Security patrols
[🤖] Hotel Receptionist
[🤖] Warehouses operations
[🤖] Themed game events
——————————————————
The list goes as far as your imagination
——————————————————
An early version of this was seen with @Tesla manned coffee-serving robots
But this is on a global scale…
AUKI also adds another layer:
[✅] Collaborative Spatial Computing
[✅] Collaborative Machine Perception
Now robots don’t just receive commands
They gain a shared understanding of the environment around them
This enables them to:
[🧭] Navigate spaces autonomously
[🫳] Interact with their surrounding
[👥] Coordinate with humans & robots
—————————————————
It’s advanced robotic automation:
autopilot capabilities where suited
—————————————————
Whilst @CactusXR, AUKI’s spatial AI platform gives the human remote user:
[🛰️] Task alerts, tracking & logging
[🗺️] Location layouts & planograms
[📊] Spatial analytics
[🥽] Indoor AR navigation
[🏢] Real-time 3D digital twins
—————————————————
Now work that needs physical presence
won’t be tied to where your located…
If you’re qualified, that roll can be yours!

New use-case on route:
Remote Robot Inspections for Retail
Brands hire hundreds of employees to drive between stores just to check:
• Product placement
• Correct shelf compliance
@Auki has a time/money saving solution
Assign one robot to each retail location and let inspectors work from home!
——————————————————
How this workflow concept works:
——————————————————
1️⃣ Sign in: Connect to an on-site robot
via computer, phone or smart glasses
——————————————————
2️⃣ Deploy: The robot autonomously
navigates to the brand’s shelf location
——————————————————
3️⃣ Inspect: Log products and stock
health via the live camera feed
——————————————————
4️⃣ Repeat: Log off and jump into the
next stores robot instantly
——————————————————
✅ Zero travel costs
✅ Faster inspections
✅ Massively increased coverage
✅ Global inspections from anywhere
This is powered by @CactusXR, Auki’s spatial AI platform for retail
It gives robots a shared sense of space to navigate & interact within stores…
——————————————————
All in real time & with cm-level precision
——————————————————
While giving human operators, store planograms, task tracking tools
Autonomous spatial intelligence meets efficient human oversight!
Check out Nils breakdown how they propose to implement this idea:

🚨HIRING FOUNDING ENGINEER🚨
We're looking for a cracked dev with deep experience in AI and robotics to help CTRL+R become the default way robots are operated as Founding Engineer/CTO.
Right now, every robotics team is hacking together their own stack, and most industries still can’t use robots effectively. So first we're bringing embodied AI to industries that don't have it, then helping robotics teams scale via our unified operating layer.
If this sounds like you...
-You prioritize efficiency over all else
-You are half-human, half-Vulcan like Spock
-You take pride in what you build
-You are impatient
-You do stuff when you say it'll be done (and if not, you communicate why not)
-You can make complex topics easy to understand for non-experts
-You can think big AND small
-Impact is one of your core drivers
...then send us (@CTRLR_cloud) or @macklorden a DM and tell us what you've worked on and why you're interested.
Details:
-There is no salary offer as we are pre-revenue, but as a cofounder you'd own equity in the company.
-Must be willing to live & work & build a team in Dubai
-There is no guarantee of success. But if we do succeed, you’ll have real ownership in something that defines an entire industry.
The best part is that our technology is FREE for anyone to use.
If you have a robot, try it out and tell us what you think! client.ctrlr.cloud/
In the crypto world, the script is almost always the same: press releases, evocative renderings, promises of an imminent revolution... and then months, sometimes years, of silence before anything concrete reaches users.
@Auki and @CTRLR_cloud have chosen to do the exact opposite.
This difference demonstrates the commitment and approach championed by the two companies.
This is the difference between vision and infrastructure.
When they announced their collaboration on robotic co-embodiment in supermarkets, the demo was already live.
Customers had already seen it.
The product was already up and running.
Credibility is built through small decisions, driven by an unwavering commitment to improving an entire industry.
