After working as CEO of @Modulr_Robotics for the past ~7 months, I have officially stepped away to build @CTRLR_cloud - one unified platform to control and coordinate robots at scale.
Ultimately, @Theundline and I came to an agreement whereby I would buy out Modulr's robotics technology stack (which we've been developing since I started) and use it as the foundation for CTRL+R. Note: CTRL+R has no blockchain component.
I am super thankful to Chris for giving me the opportunity to lead Modulr in a new and challenging space: robotics.
Along the way, I've discovered a passion for robots I never knew I had. It's been amazing to talk to so many engineers and discover problems that still need solving in the space. And much like AI, there's a new breakthrough everyday.
The impact of robotics on society cannot be understated - it's the automation of labor. There are tremendous market tailwinds for robotics right now as every major company and VC firm is investing focus and funds into how robots can improve productivity. There couldn't be a better time for us.
