SATURDAY SUPER £1 — EVERY POUND MATTERS 🧡 We’re still trying. And we’ll keep trying for every dog who needs us, for as long as we possibly can. Because behind every dog who comes into our care is a story, a need, and a life worth fighting for. We’ve just welcomed a dog into our sanctuary care suffering from a severe urine infection. Getting the medication needed to treat this poorly dog has cost us nearly £200 at wholesale cost alone. That’s before the food, bedding, ongoing care and all the other essentials our dogs need. This is the reality . The costs never stop, the needs keep coming, and we simply cannot do it without your help. That’s why we’re asking you to donate just £1 this Saturday. £1 might not seem like much, but when lots of kind people come together, those pounds can help us buy vital medication, provide essential care and give dogs who have nowhere else to turn a chance. We’re not giving up. We’re still fighting. And we’ll keep fighting for these dogs until we can’t try anymore. But we need you beside us. PLEASE DONATE £1 THIS SATURDAY.
Share this post to help us reach more people.
Every single pound really does make a difference. Donate today and help us keep going: dogsonthestreets.org/donate-… Thank you for standing with Dogs on the Streets and the dogs who need us most. 🧡 RT #DogsOnTheStreets #SaturdaySuper£1 #EveryPoundMatters #SmallDonationBigDifference

I’M GOING TO BE HONEST, BECAUSE THIS IS REAL LIFE, NOT A PR CAMPAIGN. I cannot keep carrying this level of worry without asking myself what more I’m supposed to do we sadly aren’t a polished charity with the big names, the celebrity endorsements, the fancy PR or the money to pay for people to give us a few words of support . We were just us. Raw. Real. Determined. And facing the dogs and cases that so many others would rather not look at. We don’t have a big budget to buy attention. We don’t have celebrity privileges to open doors. What we have is experience, compassion, determination and a willingness to stand beside the dogs who need us most, especially the most challenging cases. And here’s what really gets me… Major charities and services reach out to us daily for advice, guidance and help. We know what we’re doing. We have knowledge, experience and a genuine commitment to making a difference. We show up when things are difficult, messy and heartbreaking. Yet when we put our hands up and ask for support, collaboration, media exposure or simply someone to help us get our message out there, it can feel like we’re shouting into a void. Over the past few days, I’ve pushed social media campaigns, made shout-outs, tried to build collaborations and reached out in the hope of finding people who believe in what we do. Even an offer of PR and media volunteer support hasn’t brought the response we hoped for. And there’s another part of this that people may not realise. I do all of this voluntarily. I don’t take a penny in wages. There is no salary waiting at the end of the month for the hours, the worry, the responsibility or the emotional weight that comes with this work. I give my time, my energy and so much of myself because I believe these dogs and their owners deserve the help. walking away simply isn't something I can do lightly. Every single day brings another bill, another expense, another need that cannot simply be ignored. There are real costs behind the scenes, and the financial pressure never seems to take a day off. We can have all the compassion in the world, but we still need resources, practical support, connections and people willing to stand beside us if we’re going to keep doing this work. And I’m left asking myself: What more are we supposed to do? I’m not writing this for sympathy, and I’m not asking anyone to feel sorry for us. I’m asking people to look beyond the size of a charity, the number of followers it has or the famous faces (not) attached to it. Look at the work. Look at the cases. Look at the commitment. Look at what can be achieved when people who genuinely care come together. I don’t want us to spend more time trying to convince people that we deserve support than actually getting that support to the dogs. I want us to be seen for what we ARE. So yes, I’m deflated. I’m worried. I’m questioning what the next step should be. But I’m also reminding myself why we started in the first place. We need PR and media volunteers. We need meaningful collaborations. We need people who can amplify our work, connect us with the right networks, help us raise awareness and turn visibility into practical support. If you can help, please reach out. Every genuine offer of help could make a difference. We might not have the biggest voices in the room, but we have something worth speaking up for. We are raw. We are real. We face the cases others find too difficult. We give our time voluntarily, and we keep showing up because the dogs still need us. We cannot do everything alone, and we shouldn't have to. We’re not asking for applause. We’re asking for people to stand alongside us and help us keep going. Not for recognition. Not for headlines. Not for ourselves. For the dogs. Always for the dogs 🧡 Thank you for listening & goodnight M x

🚨 URGENT VOLUNTEER APPEAL: DOGS ON THE STREETS NEEDS YOU — WE NEED TO SURVIVE INTO 2027 💔 We are at a critical point. Without urgent help, Dogs on the Streets may not survive into 2027. We are reaching out with an urgent plea to find a dedicated volunteer PR, Media & Fundraising Team willing to stand alongside Dogs on the Streets and help us fight for our future. We desperately need experienced volunteers who can help us raise awareness, tell our story, secure media coverage, build relationships with supporters and businesses, and, most importantly, bring in the vital funding we need to continue our work. We are in an extremely difficult financial position. We do not currently have the financial support needed to carry us through to the end of this year, and the reality is frightening. Unless we can secure urgent support and funding, our future is at serious risk. Every day, we support vulnerable people and their beloved dogs who have nowhere else to turn. We see people experiencing homelessness, hardship and crisis, for whom their dog may be their only constant source of love, comfort and companionship. We also find ourselves supporting other charities and services, as people are increasingly referred to us when they have nowhere else to go. At Dogs on the Streets, we believe in never saying no to someone who desperately needs help. But the heartbreaking truth is that our compassion cannot continue without the resources to sustain it. We have tried to be there for everyone. We have stretched ourselves to meet the growing need. Now, we need people to stand with us. WHO WE URGENTLY NEED 📣 PR & Media Volunteers , people who can help get our story heard, secure press and broadcast coverage, manage media relationships and raise public awareness. 💷 Experienced Fundraising Volunteers , people with a proven track record in fundraising who can help us develop campaigns, secure corporate sponsorship, build partnerships, approach potential donors and generate sustainable income. A Fundraising & Communications Team , passionate, proactive people who can bring their skills, experience, contacts and creativity together to help save our future. We are looking for people who can genuinely make a difference, whether you can offer a few hours a week, professional expertise, valuable connections or the leadership needed to help us turn this situation around. This is more than a volunteering opportunity. This is a chance to help protect a lifeline for some of the most vulnerable people and their dogs. We are not asking for sympathy. We are asking for people with the skills, experience and determination to help us survive. We need to reach more people. We need to raise more funds. We need to make our voices heard. And we need to do it urgently. Please do not assume someone else will step forward. If you work in PR, journalism, media relations, corporate fundraising, charity fundraising or communications or you know someone who does please get in touch. If you are a business or organisation that could offer professional support, sponsorship or fundraising expertise, we would love to hear from you too. Please share this appeal far and wide. The right person seeing this post could make all the difference. 🐶 Dogs on the Streets needs help now. Our future depends on it. Please message us directly if you can help or email us at [email protected] #DogsOnTheStreets #UrgentAppeal #VolunteerWithUs #FundraisingAppeal #CharitySupport #PRVolunteers #MediaSupport #Homelessness #KeepFamiliesTogether #SaveOurCharity

Please do help us with this fundraising appeal. Sharing is caring and helping & even a £1 donation supports us. We really do need to raise this amount as we’re having to take legal action against a borough Council for an outstanding debt they owe us. 🥲🙏 peoplesfundraising.com/fundr…

I want to be really clear in my response. I am not going to retract anything, I stand by every single word. Labour are calling for me to apologise. The answer is no. Industrial rape across almost every town and city in Britain. Sexual torture. Murder. Endless rape. I sat there for two weeks, listening to these girls. I heard how one girl was raped by a dog, as Muslim men bet on what the animal would do. Girls drugged and locked in cages, like rats. Another, raped by 700 men over three years. Dozens and dozens of these stories through our inquiry, and we are barely scratching the surface. This was allowed to happen EXACTLY because politicians were cowards, refusing to discuss it. I will not make that same mistake. I said what I said, and I meant it. The Labour Party have blood on their hands, yet they think they can demand an apology from me for highlighting the systemic evil they allowed to infect our entire country? They can piss off. I am angry about it. Furious. When you hear directly from these girls about what they have been through, it changes the way you see politics. Forever. Our report will be out very soon. When that happens, I don’t want any apologies from the Labour Party. I don’t care about that. I want to see those politicians responsible for covering up this atrocity behind bars for what they have done to these girls.

Both men said “I can’t breathe”, but only one man’s death was covered relentlessly by the media. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the legacy mainstream media is incredibly, hatefully racist against Whites.

just wanted to come on here this evening and speak from the heart. This past month has honestly broken me in ways I can’t even explain. Behind the scenes, I’ve been working every single day trying to hold this charity together , supporting emergency cases, fixing accounts, helping my team, answering messages, and trying to make sure the dogs still get fed, rescued, warm and safe. But on Tuesday evening, I lost my Mum. And the truth is… I haven’t even had time to grieve. The charity still needs me 24/7. The dogs still need us. The messages don’t stop. The bills don’t stop. The suffering on the streets doesn’t stop. And somehow, through tears and exhaustion, I’ve kept typing, kept fighting, kept going because giving up simply isn’t an option when innocent souls rely on you. To make things harder, I’ve also caught Covid and it’s completely knocked me sideways, but I’m still here doing everything I can. I will try to stay active over the weekend and update everyone as much as possible, but from next week I need to take a little time out. I need to grieve my Mum. I need to be with my children. I need to breathe for a moment because I am running on empty. Thankfully, I have the most incredible team around me and I know they will continue keeping everything going while I step back for a short while. To every single person who supports us ,thank you. Truly. Your kindness keeps this charity alive during some of the darkest moments imaginable. If anybody can help us right now, please consider checking our Amazon wishlist, supporting our fundraisers, or sending even the smallest donation through PayPal. Small charities like ours are struggling more than ever, and right now we really do need your support to survive. Thank you for standing beside us.
And thank you for not forgetting the street dogs who still need us every single day. 🐾 dogsonthestreets.org

I honestly cannot express how intense the last 5 days have been. The extreme heat has affected not only those living on the streets with their dogs, but also the 80+ dogs currently in our care. Dogs whose owners have needed crisis support. Dogs needing urgent intervention. Dogs depending on us to keep them safe. Today reached 35°C and we are still sitting at 33°C tonight. It has been relentless. Over the past few days we’ve taken numerous calls from London Ambulance Service, the police and other frontline services asking for urgent assistance. At the same time, we’ve had to implement additional support strategies for a heavily pregnant dog that came into our care following neglect. The emotional and physical pressure on everyone has been enormous. But my team… my team have been unbelievable. They have worked in extreme heat conditions across the Sanctuary to make sure every single dog is safe, cool, hydrated and cared for. No corners cut. No complaints. Just dedication, compassion and absolute commitment to animal welfare. They are exhausted, but they continue to show up. And they are the face of what real animal care and welfare should look like. Massive shout out to every single member of the Dogs on the Streets team. I could not be prouder of you all. 🧡
