Some pictures of the US M548 carry M101 howitzer as SPH. After the Vietnam War, the VPA has many M548 and M101 sitting in storage as war trophy, so the VPA top brass turned them into SPH. Tho the program didn't see widespread adoption, only a handful were ever made.

Naval Group officially unveiled the FDI XL yesterday, adding 16 VLS cells and 8 MM40 Block 3C missiles.
This could result in a configuration of 40 Aster 30, 48 CAMM-ER, 21 RAM Block 2, and 16 Exocet missiles.

Why MRCA 4.5/5 instead of LCA batch 2?
The answer is simple: to fill the current air capability gap. Ever since the MiG-29N was retired, there has been no replacement. Even if the number of LCAs is increased, they still cannot replace the capabilities and roles of an MRCA.

The first FA-50M Block-70 has arrived in Malaysia, and everything is proceeding according to plan.
The FA-50 Block 70 is a testament to the full potential of the FA-50 platform. Rather than being viewed merely as a advanced trainer, the T-50/FA-50 platform (often described as a "mini F-16") is capable of performing a wide range of missions in addition to its role as an advanced trainer.
The latest Block 70 version can, for all practical purposes, be considered a compact modern fighter jet.
While the ROK Air Force has not yet shown interest in the Block 70 variant, its extensive operation of the T-50 and FA-50 fleet helps streamline the management of its other combat assets, such as the F-16, F-15, F-35, and KF-21 by allowing the T-50/FA-50 to take on various secondary or non-critical mission roles.
Meanwhile, thanks to steady sales of the FA-50, KAI has been able to expand its portfolio, generate profit, accumulate technical expertise, and secure and retain engineering talent.
Also noteworthy are LIG's ESR-500A AESA radar and its various missiles—including the KALCM, SASM, L-MCM, SRAAM, and LRAAM. The ESR-500A offers performance comparable to RTX's PhantomStrike radar, and these missiles are slated for integration not only on the KF-21 but also on the FA-50.
As the radars currently installed on the ROK Air Force's FA-50 fleet age, there is a very high probability that they will be replaced with ESR-500A AESA radar.
