STUDY TIME βΌοΈπ
Understanding MTF Market Structure is about knowing how the higher timeframe influences the lower timeframe.
A bullish 4H trend doesn't mean price will move up in a straight line. Sometimes, you need to let the lower timeframes pull back before looking for continuation.
Here's the sequence to study:
β 4H: Establish the overall directional bias.
β M15: Wait for the pullback into discount and look for a CHOCH confirming a potential higher low.
β M5: Refine your entry and wait for confirmation that aligns with the M15 structure.
β Target: The next 4H swing high, in line with the higher-timeframe objective.
let each timeframe serve its purpose. Don't use lower-timeframe noise to fight the higher-timeframe direction.
HTF gives you the story. MTF gives you the setup. LTF gives you the entry.

POI selection is important, but understanding the type of inducement around your POI can make a difference in your execution.
Study these 4 models:
β No Inducement (NID) β No leg inducement or pullback inducement is present.
β Leg Inducement (LID) β Price creates internal liquidity within the leg that can be targeted before continuation.
β Pullback Inducement (PBID) β The pullback creates liquidity that price may sweep before moving toward the target.
β LID + PBID β Both leg and pullback inducement create potential liquidity pools around the setup.
understand where liquidity is forming and how price may use it around your POI. Don't force every model into the same setup, study the context and backtest each one.
