It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone

“Do you think the Covid virus was made in a lab?” I don’t care. Seriously. I do not care. It would change absolutely nothing for me either way, so I don’t see the point of expending any mental energy worrying about it. No matter where it came from, it’s here, and must be fought.

“Broom boy” was never meant to be an important character. He’s meant to show that the Force isn’t limited to sacred bloodlines.
The Last Jedi ends on a kid in Canto Bight's stables pulling a broom to his hand with the Force and looking up at the stars. Lucasfilm named him Temiri Blagg. Almost nine years on, we've never seen him again on screen. Should Star Wars ever go back to the broom boy?

The Big Unit always relished a big game. Twenty-five years ago today, Randy Johnson shut out the Yankees as part of an 11-strikeout gem and earned his first of three World Series victories for the @Dbacks. 📸 @ronvesely

The easiest way to #StandUpToCancer is to protect the immunocompromised among us. #MaskUp

Thank you to everyone who stood up with us! 🧡 Together, we can help give hope to more patients and their families.

This funny clip says “are we not aware of cancer?? Yeah I know about cancer!” But do we? Repeat Covid infections are accelerating cancers but no one knows OR cares. #StandUpToCancer
Watching everyone Stand Up to Cancer at the World Series reminded me of the most hilarious Bill Burr bit of all time 😂 #WorldSeries

Shout out to the people that aren’t fans of the Brewers or the Rays, but they’re still up at midnight watching the 12th inning of the World Series because it might be the last chance to watch baseball for 5 months. The true baseball fans.

As a kid, I wanted every World Series to go 7 games. I felt robbed by a 5 game series in both 1983 and 1984. I didn’t want baseball to end, because Spring was so far away. I’m still that kid.

"doing hard things," but can't be bothered to use the Oxford comma 🙄
This is a display at Barnes & Noble. If reading books now qualifies as “doing hard things,” we are really in trouble as a society.

"My daughter caught measles when she was seven. I remember not feeling particularly alarmed about it. Then one morning she said, 'I feel all sleepy,' and she went into a coma. In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead." Roald Dahl on his daughter Olivia
Don’t fall for the fear campaign...what is MEASLES?...a fever, a cough, a rash, runny eyes & runny nose. -Dr. Sherri Tenpenny "The measles vaccine came out in 1963. In 1962, the death rate from measles was two in a million.” "So it was not even deadly BEFORE we had a vaccine." IF YOU FEAR MEASLES... You must not know that even in the 60s, before the vaccine, the survival rate was over 99.9%. You must not know that the MMR is a live virus vaccine & can cause measles. You must not know that the MMR vaccine is linked to 2,657% MORE DEATHS than measles since 1995. You must not know that it's a very mild childhood illness for well-nourished children. You must not know that natural measles infection provides lifelong immunity, unlike the vaccine. You must not know that there are huge lifelong health benefits to getting measles, including a lower risk of cancer, lower risk of heart disease & stronger immune resilience. You must not know that the MMR insert lists over 60 serious adverse events, ranging from encephalitis, seizures & death. You must not know that studies show Vitamin A drastically reduces measles complications-yet public health officials ignore it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Pre-vaccine US: ~400-500 measles deaths, 48k hospitalizations, 1k encephalitis/yr (~2/M). Vaccine cut >99%. 2657% uses unverified VAERS (not causal) vs rare measles deaths. MMR rarely mild symptoms. Benefit claims weak; measles causes immune amnesia. cdc.gov/measles/about/… ourworldindata.org/grapher/measle…

@Lucasfilm don't do it. Don't shove a new dyad down our throats. It's Rey and Ben or you'll have a mutiny. We want Ben Solo back. A knockoff romance of what you should have given us ain't it.
