1. Plz stop calling #IndianPariahDogs, ‘free ranging’ or ‘stray’. These are not stray but natural being, naturally found near human settlements, not domesticated but commensal cum symbiotic to us Homo sapiens not unlike bed bug, house lizard, house crow, black kite etc…

Not injured. Killed two people. Why shouldn’t people take revenge ? It’s totally natural and within the ethics of nature to kill this bear, till you’re not using any tranquilliser, guns or any modern weapons/devices but killing old way, if you can !
Here’s another incident from the border area of Madhya Pradesh or Chhattisgarh, where a bear injured some people. The forest department team acted immediately, tranquilized the bear, and rescued it from a residential settlement located right in the middle of the forest. Now look at these 21st-century people who continue to live in the heart of the jungle. How much love do they really have for the forest, and how much respect do they show for the wildlife that inhabits it? Governments, for their own political gains, refuse to relocate people from these critical forest areas. Such cases always put me on edge. These kinds of childish and reckless actions keep turning into accidents, yet the blame is invariably placed only on the wild animal. The administration should punish people for such disgusting and foolish acts. Otherwise, these incidents are only going to increase in the future.

What purpose do such a long pair of horns serve ? Most likely an adaptation to deal with (mugger) crocodiles. So that horns go a full swing around the hind legs & the muggers can’t catch them from behind. From front with those horns they can’t swallow them either.
Exactly as Glasfurd drew them in early 1900s somewhere around Bastar. With large horns and near water bodies.

Aah, u can’t do anything. If the tigress wants to live in Assam instead of sub Himalayan WB. This is too much torture/interference. Foothills tigers r semi-migratory in nature- won’t live at one place for long. She’d be allowed to roam freely. #Buxa
She’s indeed migratory, wanderer & explorer. But she lost her antenna and went east to Assam instead of West to Nepal/Bihar. 😛

This is what we call meddling with wildlife/nature/forest. Sal Borers are wildlife themselves, who we’re to interfere. Such outbreaks are natural cyclic phenomena that destroy, creates & balance forests. Now they’ll sell those timbers/dead woods belonging to forest ecology.
A fresh sal borer outbreak threatens Madhya Pradesh's forests. More than 45,000 trees have been felled in Dindori after 150,000 were identified as affected last year. Now, fresh infestations are being reported, with villagers fearing the worst outbreak in decades, reports @bsrivas Read more: downtoearth.org.in/forests/s… #MadhyaPradesh #ForestConservation

Actually, A Very Severe Cyclone (VSCS). But IMD would still call it just a Severe Cyclone (SCS).
The Severe Cyclone Murasu has started doing landfall (in the belt #Nellore-#Narsapur) The centre should pass near #Ongole during midnight. Chennai & North TN already received good rains. Poleward outflow looks strong, so the #CycloneMurasu would remain severe/strong for now.

That’s not hunting. Plz stop defaming locals & fishermen #GangeticDolphins #Bihar
Dolphin hunting continues in Bihar, while the administration looks the other way. These people are proudly uploading videos of killing an endangered species on social media as if it's some achievement. Shameful!

It happens. Babies are cute but on purpose. Being cute is an evolution & survival strategy as newborns/babies are fully vulnerable to enemies/predators. A predator specially a female may not kill a baby on some occasion.

Cyclone (CS) formed. By night it’d intensify into a Severe Cyclone (SCS). Can it further intensify into a Very Severe Cyclone near the coast(VSCS) ? Let’s see. #CycloneMurasu #AndhraPradesh

A tusk-less male elephant in ‘musth’. This time his testosterone spikes to 50 to 200 times. Yet how calm & composed he’s- merely chasing humans. In fact he’d like some healthy-conflict to engage his musth psych otherwise he’d get bored or destructive.

It’s not rare … it’s the norm. A male tiger doesn’t provide parental care- is a myth spread by humans. The famous male tiger ‘Bamera Son’ with his cubs ❤️
Papa has come home ! Yet another male tiger and another story. A Male tiger doesn’t help in raising/caring/educating/training/protecting his cubs- one hell of a myth !

How massive is that male leopard ! A female as usual would do drama & nail biting before giving in to mating.

‘Sundari’ (T 17) was in heat. But d young papa-tiger ‘Zalim’/Dollar (T25) said NO. When d mom-tigress ‘Kachida Female’ (T5) died in 2011- leaving behind her 3 months old 2 female cubs, Either d testosterone level of d Zalim fell by 70% or he’d a great will-power to say NO!
#Zalim/#Dollar/T-25 refused to mate with this seductive tigress that day, as he's rearing his orphaned cubs (seen peeping through in pix 2, the 'fight') & chose cubs over sex. Very ferocious male, hence named Zalim, surprised everybody by showing his caring side. #HappyFathersDay

Back to back cyclone in the Bay ! Could you believe ? After Arnab say a Hi to yet another cyclone brewing in the Bay of Bengal. #CycloneMurasu (Murasu- likely a Tamil word meaning DRUM. And announcing and alerting people)

Recently, the signal of tigress T-138, which was released in Buxa Tiger Reserve, had gone missing for the past few days. Naturally, this was a cause for concern. However, the forest department team heaved a sigh of relief when the signal was received again. The tigress is moving further ahead from Buxa towards Raimona National Park after crossing the Sankosh River. The tigress was released in West Bengal and has now reached Assam. This area is part of the Buxa–Manas corridor, which can be considered a very old corridor. A pattern has emerged in this tigress’s behaviour. In recent days, 100 percent of the prey she has hunted has been pigs half of them domestic pigs and half wild boars. Although other prey is also available in this area. How important this tigress is for the region and how decisive she could be for the tiger population can be gauged from the fact that teams from the West Bengal and Assam forest departments, along with the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), and even the paramilitary force SSB ( shashtra seema bal), were engaged in the search operation. Finally, on 30 October, the tigress’s signal was received again after 32 hours. This behaviour of tigers can be called a normal occurrence and falls under the category of their natural exploration. Great hopes are pinned on this tigress for a bright future of Buxa Reserve. I hope she makes this forest her permanent home and produces cubs to increase the lineage. #tigerrelocation #tigerreintroduction #buxatigerreserve #bigcatbehaviour #tigersafety

1. Let a tigress bcm heavily pregnant & see how a leopard would start blackmailing her. 2. And the Dholes keep destroying a tiger’s mental health, like every now & then. 3. Asiatic lions r extinct over most of the places in India… otherwise India teeming with competition!
the difference between me and the competition is that i don't see any competition.🗿
