I always delete everything bar the actual link, but i have noticed these numbers for a while now.

Again, a buzzword can be a word or phrase. Not my fault your English literacy skills are lacking.
Doubling down so hard while still being wrong is embarrassing for you 😂
Probably explains why you hide your face, especially when you briefly scan your timeline.

A buzzword can be a word or phrase 😂
Perhaps you should look up the meaning before confidently spewing inaccurate information.
You’ve now moved from economics to correcting terminology you haven’t actually corrected 😭
You really are desperate to be right.
Anyway, I’ve wasted enough time on faceless Andy & his favourite buzzword.
Good night 👋🏽

Repeating “it’s a fact” doesn’t make it one 😂
You can keep using your fave buzzword “economically illiterate” if it makes you feel better, but it doesn’t turn your claims into established economics.
You’ve made your point repeatedly while inventing claims along the way. I’m done going in circles with you.
Enjoy your evening👋🏽

So your claim that everyone becomes “poorer” is not an established economic fact. It’s your interpretation of the knock-on effects, stated as certainty.
Wage compression is real. So are spillover pay rises above minimum wage, and the inflationary impact is relatively small.
You’ve spent this entire exchange turning a nuanced economic trade-off into an absolute, then calling anyone who disagrees with you “economically illiterate” 😂
That’s enough circles for today 👋🏽
Glasner’s underlying numbers at Nottingham Forest show we’re creating plenty while limiting chances at the other end - and we’ve already seen evidence of that.
Now it’s on the players to turn those key chances into goals… and wins.

You’re still confusing wage compression with everyone else being made poorer.
Yes, compression is an issue, but it’s also not keeping the lowest-paid down, and being miserable because they have gotten some form of help.
You’ve invented views I haven’t taken to fit your argument, while ignoring what I’ve actually said and acknowledged. That’s on you.

I agree the cost of living needs tackling too - defo.
But it doesn’t have to be one or the other. People on minimum wage still benefit from earning more.
If wages above minimum wage aren’t keeping pace, that’s another problem that needs addressing - not a reason to hold down the lowest-paid.

You’ve now invented both my politics and an argument I never made. Impressive 😂
I never said £30k should automatically become £45k. I said stagnant wages further up the scale are a problem too. Mine hasn’t risen “properly” either, but I don’t blame minimum wage increases for that.
Minimum wage rising sharply from a very low base still doesn’t mean the answer is to keep the lowest-paid down.
Maybe argue with what I actually say for once, rather than the imaginary socialist in your head.

What a stupid take, trying the mental gymnastics, poorly.
I can assure you, that from someone who actually lives here, there are not any “no go zones”.

Yes, wage compression is a genuine issue. Never said it wasn’t.
But if someone on £30k six years ago hasn’t seen their salary rise properly, that’s an argument for questioning stagnant wages further up the scale - that’s exactly what I do.
Minimum wage rises don’t make “everyone else poorer” either.
Maybe drop the “economic illiteracy” line when your own argument is this simplistic.

Tax the larger corporations properly and make sure profitable supermarkets contribute their fair share too.
Prices are already rising for all sorts of reasons - it’s far too simplistic to say a minimum wage increase means everything suddenly goes up.
There’s no perfect solution, so what do you suggest instead for people on the lowest wages who are already struggling with living costs?
Replying to @AndyDallle
I’m not even a Labour supporter 😂
Wanting the lowest-paid to earn enough to cope with rising living costs isn’t making “everyone else poorer”.
Keeping the bottom poorer doesn’t magically make everyone above them better off.
This is the average view of specific people.

Ah yes, leading with you’re “thick” - the foundation of a strong economic argument…..
