LEONARD PEIKOFF ON THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND AMERICA Leonard Peikoff, who was a close associate of philosopher/novelist Ayn Rand for thirty years, and is the foremost authority on her philosophy of Objectivism, had this to say about the Democrats: "After the Democrats are through with America, America will be through. We will end like ancient Rome. The post-American era will be Dark Ages 2.0." — LEONARD PEIKOFF

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER: UKRAINE-RUSSIA EDITION "The way President Trump talks about me, he needs to adopt that kind of rhetoric about Putin." — @ZelenskyyUa 💯
When President Trump says we need to find a compromise – we live with this. A ceasefire and sitting down at the negotiating table – it is a huge compromise. Nobody can step into the shoes of all these people whose children were tortured. And you can't force people to forgive. How can you force them when their child was tortured? How do you forgive? It's impossible. I desperately want justice. I just really want. I know so many people had their hearts ripped out, and there won't be a new heart. That's why we say a ceasefire is the only step, because people’s hatred isn't going anywhere. It takes time and justice. And that's why it's a huge compromise. I've tried many times to tell the President of the United States: understand us. This is a huge compromise just to hold the lines where we are. Trump can bring Putin to the negotiating table very easily. The way President Trump talks about me, he needs to adopt that kind of rhetoric about Putin. From The Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett. (3/3)

Mentioning Leonard's Peikoff's expertise on Objectivism is important to outsiders given that ARI Objectivists are presenting a united front against Trump. Leonard's statement breaks that narrative. I'll post more in the comments.

Of what relevance is it that Leonard Peikoff shares your position? What evidence do you have that these men are anti-capitalists? Note, I read Peter Schwartz’s article, and I disagree with him.

Middle-class incomes are rising again. After four months of declines driven by high energy prices, real household income rebounded in August and September. Median household income reached $88,667 in August, up roughly $2,500 in real terms since President Trump began his second term. So much for the Left’s affordability crisis narrative.

Radical on what? Take Israel for example. MAGA is Trump. Over the last half century Trump is the most pro-Israel POTUS America has had. Tucker (and Owens and Fuentes) are anti-Israel How can the "same ideology" be for AND against Israel? A and non-A. capitalismmagazine.com/2026/…

BOOKS: A GREAT FOLLOW-UP TO "THE DIM HYPOTHESIS" Much has changed in the past half century. That's why the foremost expert on Ayn Rand's philosophy, Leonard Peikoff, recommends Objectivists interested in today's political culture read @marklevinshow's book AMERICAN MARXISM. If you liked THE OMINOUS PARALLELS you will enjoy Levin's book.

A lot has changed since those two books (@OminousParallel & DIM) were written. You have to remember that Mr. Peikoff is first and foremost an inductive thinker. So as new evidence comes along he changes his opinions accordingly. Leonard highly recommended this book on the state of today's culture.

Democrats are organizing the overthrow of our government.
Let me break down what I'm seeing and hearing here from DR. I don't know DR's source for these materials , but they appear completely legit and are profoundly disturbing. These are leading members of the Democrat Party hatching up the following strategy: 1. After the midterms, use the DSA to incite and carry out violent civil unrest. 2. Make the violent civil unrest so bad that Trump must invoke the Insurrection Act. 3. Use the invocation of the Insurrection Act to create a national sense of illegitimacy whereby Democrat governors appear justified in taking the extreme action of refusing to acknowledge federal authority and push to form a new form of federal government via various means, including an Article V transformation of the Constitution. Maybe there is more to this and it's not as bad as it seems, but right now this appears to be a conspiracy to create the next Fort Sumter. This is a CIA-style color revolution in real time, on our own soil. (Of course the legacy media is nowhere near this--it takes us Internet randos to get the word out.)

Ayn Rand on the difference between economic power of @elonmusk vs the political power of @KamalaHarris: "A disastrous intellectual package-deal, put over on us by the theoreticians of statism, is the equation of economic power with political power. You have heard it expressed in such bromides as: “A hungry man is not free,” or “It makes no difference to a worker whether he takes orders from a businessman or from a bureaucrat.” Most people accept these equivocations—and yet they know that the poorest laborer in America is freer and more secure than the richest commissar in Soviet Russia. What is the basic, the essential, the crucial principle that differentiates freedom from slavery? It is the principle of voluntary action versus physical coercion or compulsion." "The difference between political power and any other kind of social “power,” between a government and any private organization, is the fact that a government holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force." [...] "Now let me define the difference between economic power and political power: economic power is exercised by means of a positive, by offering men a reward, an incentive, a payment, a value; political power is exercised by means of a negative, by the threat of punishment, injury, imprisonment, destruction. The businessman’s tool is values; the bureaucrat’s tool is fear." “America’s Persecuted Minority: Big Business,” Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal
Kamala Harris: "He [Musk] has lost his privileges." Can someone please explain to her that freedom of speech is a RIGHT, not a "privilege"? Kamala Harris: "There has to be a responsibility placed on these social media sites to understand their power." Translation: "If they don't police content to conform to government-approved narratives, they will be shut down."

In the US people are for a reason worried about DSA. In the EU, we already have DSA - Digital Service Act - that is the Orwellian nightmare of 1984. Of course in the name of "protecting children" and "equality", all that jazz. "The European Union (EU) wants to make secure that digital technologies and online platforms respect everyone's rights" and "we are safe and protected online whatever type of digital service we use" sounds more Orwellian than whatever Orwell wrote. How the European Commission @EU_Commission is selling the Digital Service Act (DSA) to children is actually quite horrifying. How children must be protected from content that might "bother, upset or scare them or make them feel angry, sad worried or bullied online". "The DSA require online platforms to consider the impact of their service on important issues such as fair election" meaning when people vote 'wrong parties' such as ADF. "Trusted flaggers are appointed organisation experts" - after the 'experts' the EU had during COVID... It's absurd that they even try to argue this with straight face. For example the "tursted flaggers" pointed by DSA in Finland are just by happenstance the same CSOs that are very visible with their support of Pride Agenda. EU has some very interesting projects regarding this, for example "Sense of Belonging"... Opposing the rainbow agenda is considered as "anti-gender movement" that is "internationally organized", not as a reaction to the LGBT stuff being forced on schools and kindergartens. The EU is more concerned of children being misgendered in social media than them being raped by illegal immigrants who can't control their impulses when seeing girls not chained in hijab or burkha. But being misgendered? Now there's a line. This is the Truth Commission, plain and simple. I would respect it so much more if they just would be open and honest about it. As a user of X in the European Union area, X has been a throne on Union's back for ages. And on their list to ban as soon as they could. They had no problem with Twitter before Elon Musk. When Elon Musk came carrying the sink, things shifted immediately. With DSA (Digital Service Act), the very first fine went to X & Elon Musk. Just to show how things are now. Now Musk has some 6 months to comply with the European Commission and DSA, and The Board for Digital Services will audit if X has done enough. All the reasons for banning X, just like for the fine and why kids are banned from using social media in different countries (including X, excluding BlueSky) are same as always. Hateful conduct. Gender-based violence (hurty words). Misinformation. "Election interference". The European Union has been losing too many elections to parties since the people have voted democratically the parties EU does not like. Who are deemed as "threat to democracy". Elon Musk buying X did save the freedom of speech for Europe, at least, but it also gave that to those who want to use our freedoms to hang us with. That's why they're attempting to ban X it with DSA, as well as denying it from people under 16, at first. Also they're having a database "Anti-Muslim Hatred Database", which includes a case against Tommy Robinson bringing light how these Muslim grooming-raping gangs work. But hey, if the EU just prints a bit larger sheet with the word "DEMOCRACY" on it...
