History will never forget the name Captain Picard.
Thank you for inspiring the Next Generation of explorers. ✨
ALT Two interacting galaxies against the black of space. Together, they fill most of the right side of the image. They have a rounded center shape, with two extended arms. The arms both extend back, shaped roughly like the starship Enterprise. A third smaller galaxy spirals to its left.

Space feels a little emptier tonight.
For so many of us, Sir Patrick Stewart was the captain we grew up trusting. When Jean-Luc Picard stood up to speak, you listened. He could face down a warship, defend a stranger’s humanity or quietly admit he was wrong—and make every moment believable.
He gave Star Trek its conscience as much as its commanding voice. Through Picard, he showed us that intelligence, compassion and courage belonged together in the captain’s chair.
And there was something rather special about a Yorkshire lad taking the bridge of the Enterprise and making the universe listen.
Thank you for the adventures, Sir Patrick. For the dignity, the warmth, and the belief that humanity might yet become something better.
The bridge is yours, Number One. Our captain has earned his rest.
Goodnight, Sir Patrick. And thank you. 🖖

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
That's most probably due to a lot of recalls .

The 49 is automatic with prison transfers. Its like a section 41 restriction order except for prison transfers there is no section 17 leave.
"Manhunt after prisoner escapes London medical unit" -
Interesting choice of language in this report, which is very obviously about a prison to mental health unit transfer (s47 or s47/49 MHA) but none of that's mentioned at all.
