The league needs to decide what is and isn't goaltender interference at this point. Personally as someone who's played goal, that puck is secure under his outstretched pad. Puck and pad pushed in there.
After review, it's confirmed there's no goaltender interference. It'll be a goal for the Hurricanes, who go to the power play.

If we can acknowledge Putin is an evil dictator as the reason Ovi should denounce him, shouldn’t we also then acknowledge how dangerous it would be for someone planning to return to Russia to publicly denounce an evil dictator?
After a couple of weeks of stewing, just couldn't shake the fact that Alex Ovechkin appeared in a pro-Putin ad, and that it would color how people viewed him -- forever. On his 22nd season, his choice -- and his legacy. nytimes.com/athletic/7621237…

NEW: ASU hockey review assigns no blame in its initial findings. The lawyer for Matthew Mayich’s family calls it “mind-boggling” “This report, it’s more advocacy than fact-finding,” Rob Carey said. Story from @AdamKilgoreWP @nathanfenno and me nytimes.com/athletic/7621006…

Maybe I’m too woke, but I don’t like this! Part of the charm of hockey is having some grizzled fat guy riding around on that thing having the time of his life.
It’s Day 1 of Training Camp, and we have a self-driving ice resurfacer cleaning the ice at the Avalanche practice facility

Reading proofs from book & remembering what I wrote in 2015: "I am very concerned about the future of AI. Not because of the risk of rogue machines taking over. But because of the homogeneous, one-dimensional group of men who are currently involved in advancing the technology.”

A friend of mine works in AI and thinks bad things are about to happen. He sold his home and moved his family out the country. He said if you own a home in a walkable San Francisco neighborhood near a taqueria with good veggie options, you should sell your home right now.

we’re like 9-15 months away from realizing that these ladies were actually keeping all the engineers in line and preventing them from shipping an endless barrage of retarded features that don’t actually solve any problems.

It was a really beautiful testament to the human spirit that during a global pandemic we all turned against each other, abandoned the environment, and decided to price gouge everyone
