Do you screen for BPPV in everyone who has experienced a fall? Recent work by Metz and Bryce shows that we should be! cambridge.org/core/journals/…

Huge welcome to everyone attending our symposium today. We look forward to talking about how teaching and training about ageing and multiple long-term conditions will shape our workforce of the future

We are no longer using #falls alarms across @STSFTrust 🎉 They don’t reduce falls, they’re noisy & worsen agitation. Focus needs to be on robust #risk assessment/intervention, environment & delivering enhanced care (of course with current staffing pressures this is a challenge)

Public appeal - help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our hospitals and protect our staff and patients by wearing a facemask , coming alone for appointments and not meeting up with patients in our grounds. We need everyone to #DoYourBit and support our NHS bit.ly/34mu1ls

We hope that you will randomise your patients into this important trial; we have all bemoaned the lack of evidence in this area for many years and now have an opportunity to find out what treatments really work for our patients with orthostatic hypotension bgs.org.uk/blog/conform-oh-a…

Really interesting to be debating falls sensors. Do we rely on them too much with limited evidence? #improvefalls
