ICE didn’t exist before this century. It’s not part of the Constitution. ICE is not about immigration. It’s about making a show of immigration and normalising paramilitary force on our streets.
I believe we need to undo it and build a system that enforces immigration law while respecting the Constitution.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: No. You have to have borders that you can control. There’s no question about that.
People think ICE is about border enforcement, but it’s not. Customs and Border Protection enforces the border. ICE handles immigration enforcement inside the country.

Data center subsidies ballooned to insane amounts this year. The data center tax exemptions include $2.5 billion in Georgia and $1.3 billion in Texas for FY2026, and nearly $2 billion in Virginia for FY2025.
A lot of these data center tax exemptions are costing state budgets 10 to 20 times more in revenue than initially projected.
This forgone tax revenue is a textbook example of shameless corporate welfare. These billions of dollars could be funding American schools, housing, healthcare, transit, etc.
Not to mention the fact that data centers draw massive amounts of electricity and water, and the cost of these grid upgrades is blatantly being passed down to households and rate-payers through higher monthly utility bills.
We're getting robbed blind, America.

Wow. For years, an official in Arkansas allegedly tampered with bar exam scores, pulling points from some test takers and giving them to others.
This caused numerous failing exams to pass, and resulted in "at least one instance" where an otherwise passing exam fell below the requisite threshold.
