Osi Umenyiora reveals how the Giants exposed “the greatest quarterback ever, supposedly,” Tom Brady, by decoding his snap count before Super Bowl XLII Umenyiora says he noticed Brady pointing at a specific defender before signaling the center to snap the ball. After studying game footage for a week, he became convinced the pattern was consistent and shared his discovery with the entire Giants defense. That preparation gave New York’s defensive line a crucial advantage, helping them sack Brady five times and hit him around 20 times in the upset victory over the previously undefeated Patriots. Umenyiora says the Giants entered the game believing they could win because they had uncovered something their opponents did not know they had figured out.

Terry Robiskie says as an NFL head coach he once received a message from his team's owner telling him not to let a player on his team earn his $300,000 contract bonus for total receptions, and says instead of listening to the owner he deliberately called plays to help that player reach the incentive “Larry Centers was our fullback, and your daddy would always feature him. Your daddy made sure Larry Centers caught six, seven balls a game. He was the best at getting balls in the right hands of the right people.” “I'll never forget it. We were playing Arizona, which was Larry's old team. Larry came to my office, sat down at my desk, and said, ‘Coach, you know, I didn't make that much money this year on my salary. But I need six catches in this game.’” “And Norv would always get him seven, nine catches. He said, ‘I need six catches in this game. If I get those six catches, man, I got a $300,000 bonus.’ And I turned and looked at him. I said, ‘Three hundred? Are you crazy? I don't make but $140,000. I'm the head coach!’” “He said, ‘Coach, man, I gotta get these six catches for this $300,000, man. I'll give you a thousand.’ I said, ‘Okay, good. Give me a thousand!’ But right then, that guy wanted to know, ‘Coach, do you really care about me?’ You know what I mean? And I know that I got a little note from the owner of that team saying, ‘Don't let that guy get them six catches.’” “I threw him seven balls in the first quarter. I made sure he got them. I never got my thousand dollars from him. I gotta get my thousand! But I made sure he had his incentive. And I told the owner, ‘If you don't want him to make that incentive, don't put it in his contract, because I'm the wrong guy.’ I'm the wrong guy.”

Gruden was the best judge of talent we've had. I don't want him coaching. I want him in the front office as GM
I liked Jay Gruden as an offensive mind. I was there. Receivers were running wide open. But he couldn't care less about the defense. He also didn't have a viable GM or Owner. He also made some dumb mistakes too.

I saw it happening and couldn't believe it
I didn’t believe it until I looked it up. From the moment the Commanders went up by 14pts with 11:05 left in the 4th quarter, they ran the ball 1 time for the rest of the game until OT. Then they ran it twice in OT. Not a single carry went to Bill who was averaging 8ypc

Man, go wizards!
— Daronte Jones gave up a 14-point lead. — Daronte Jones had his secondary playing 10+ yards off the ball in the REDZONE on 4th & 7. — saw fit to drop DARON PAYN....... nvm.

I know the defense got the fumblen and the refs don't get off the hook for what they did. But the defense just let them come back from down 14 points, twice.
I know Dan Quinn, Jayden Daniels and David Blough are taking this heat but don’t let Adam Peters off the hook he has put together a bottom 10 roster in the NFL & has had horrible drafts.
54
That's the most embarrassing tie
What just happened!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! LETSSSSSSS GOOOOOO

This game is over. We're losing to Winston
WHY ARE WE PLAYING 12 YARDS OFF THE FOOTBALL😡😡😡😡
46
You know. You just don't want to say it
Don't know about that one.....Was initially ruled a turnover by the #NYG and recovery by the #Commanders but then they said "After review" Seems like it was a replay assist ruling, because would have to be challenged by #NYGiants , right?? @team980

Doesn't matter. Cheaters gonna cheat
Ok now I believe in conspiracy theories WHERE IS THE PASS INTERFERENCE????

This is insane. claude is not a person with a consciousness nor even an animal. It´s an LLM. You can´t be cruel to a stupid computer program. These people have turned into a weird and creepy cult.

Where do you get your Hope?from a large language model? or from a company. Math has the job of bringing order from chaos. I don't need to look far for chaos. I just need to understand how to get order. Does it matter whether I saw a millennium problem or not?
OpenAI stalked Fields medalist and AI critic Duminil-Copin and specifically attacked every problem he had ever mentioned being interested in, ever. So now we can't talk about maths in public without getting the work stolen and scooped by venture capitalists with a grudge
63
But again this is like a short-term effect. There are millions not even millions there is an infinite number of math problems these problems are not going the way every problem sprouts new problems. But their researchers and llms will get bored we don't That's The guiding light
OpenAI issued PR statements saying they were interested in providing tools, not solving problems, then plowed millions of dollars of compute into solving problems. It is worth considering whether this has negative first order effects.
