The Bank Governor said private sector earnings growing at 3% was still a worry but the Bank did not concern itself with public sector earnings growing at 6.3%. Why not? Public sector earnings are pushing up inflation, private sector lagging inflation mean real wage cuts.

Thomas Tuchel: "We stick to the guys who were in camp (last time when Palmer absent), it was excellent." Josh King AND Jobe Bellingham ? A tad inconsistent and disingenuous there, Herr Tuchel ?

Thomas Tuchel showing his ugly pettiness side by not calling up Cole Palmer out of spite, a side of him I know that many have had problems with in his time, including at Chelsea. England and Tuchelโ€™s loss is Chelseaโ€™s gain.

Thomas Tuchel on Cole Palmer: "I only want to rely on what [players] I personally witness." Fair enough, but.... ....how much of Josh King and Jobe Bellingham has the current England Manager 'personally witnessed'? Is TT being truly honest about his feelings on Cole Palmer?

Good grief, but the John Lewis Xmas advert is AWFUL. It's basically an advert for buying gifts for ungrateful kids with terrible parents. The grandchildren are just plain rude. The parents don't notice or care. So the grandma decides to splash the cash on gifts she thinks they will like - so rewarding their rudeness! If I had a kid who behaved like that, they wouldn't be getting a single gift on Christmas Day. Not one. Oh, and of COURSE the ad has to feature a mixed race family (who make up 1.3% of all British families yet about 50% of families appearing in TV adverts) because, y'know, diversity. It's all so bloody irritating. ๐Ÿ™„

So this new John Lewis advert, then. Christmas ads have become very popular over the years, but many have also become a huge talking point, and not for the right reasons. We all know they are fiction, created with actors, and cost millions to make. But while some portray Christmas and its meaning, others, like this one, portray entitlement and children who only appreciate someone if they are showered with gifts. We know this doesn't depict all children, of course we do, but a department store as huge as JL, should have an extremely professional team of production and marketing assistants who know what works and what doesn't. What we're seeing here are two kids being utterly disrespectful to their grandmother, who then goes out of her way to spend money on them in order to gain their love. Is this really what parents/grandparents have to do these days, buy their family's love? No. It isn't. Not if you have brought your children up properly. So John Lewis have, in a two-minute advert, destroyed the true meaning of Christmas and made children look like spoilt brats who have no respect for their elders. Well done.

Itโ€™s official. Burnham is going to take ยฃ40million of our hard-earned money and give it to folk in the Caribbean to โ€œ atoneโ€ for slavery. How about giving it to the Royal Surrey hospital in Guilford to โ€œatoneโ€ for the state of the NHS? The fastest we throw out this dud the better.

Labour wouldn't know a working-class person if one hit them in the face. A Treasury minister says employers aren't "working people" they're just companies. The electrician with an apprentice. The shopkeeper paying weekend staff. The builder who lies awake over the wage bill. None of them count. That's what happens when a party is run by people who've never signed a wage packet in their lives. They can't define a British worker because they've never met one. Labour doesn't represent the working class. It represents itself and the work shy, oh and donโ€™t forget the illegal immigrantโ€™s.๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

We need to talk about The Telegraph One of the UK's oldest and most respected right wing papers. A broadsheet. A thought leader. Today - a political bloodbath with some of the most talented leading commentators of our day brutally axed before the paper veers left. What is happening is another leftist attack on Europe. Another pillar crumbled. Another institution taken over and destroyed Wake up. The long slow Communist takeover of Europe is currently on steroids

Nothing for British people? The homeless? Cancer charities? Veterans? I could go onโ€ฆ No. Refugees of course, because thatโ€™s what these celebs do, it keeps them popular with studios, whoโ€™re all left wing.
Omg Bash gave his money to CHOOSE LOVE - โ€œfor queer refugees and displaced peopleโ€ - and Romesh donated his to the Refugee Council. The Refugee Council received ยฃ41,588,000 from taxpayers between 2021-25 and Choose Loveโ€™s total income for 2025 was ยฃ12,593,084! They do not need the money. So many small, struggling charities could have done with the help and publicity! #celebritytraitors
