Canada is the most European of our partners outside Europe. The friendship between Europe and Canada has deep roots. We share a vision for the world and a firm commitment to our core values. Today, we are shaping the next chapter of our partnership. We are building an ever-closer association. Thank you, dear @MarkJCarney, for hosting the 21st EU-Canada Summit. And I agree with you: our association will be the closest, deepest and most unique of its kind.

Every day Russian strikes hit our energy infrastructure, causing extensive damage. Russia’s operation against our power generation, energy grids and interconnectors continues. It launched 17 ballistic missiles last night, some of which struck our oil refining infrastructure in Kremenchuk. The Russians have not taken a single step toward energy de-escalation. We will act accordingly and justly.

I have heard it from far better people than you and they were wrong too. What I enjoyed was seeing you running away from an argument about Brexit because you would rather talk about anything else. And I loved the smile being wiped from your face when the young woman tore apart your net zero BS. You’ve not nice suits and nice shoes but you’ve got more chance captaining the Sri Lankan cricket team than you have of becoming Home Secretary.
Alastair Campbell did not appear to enjoy being called a war criminal to his face: The truth hurts.

The GOP’s panic in Florida is setting in this 11th hour. Florida doesn’t want the drug-dealing, corrupt, Data Center Donalds. Say NO to Byron Donalds. Vote for @davidjollyfl!
Republicans are underperforming in Polk County. We have a voter registration advantage of 60,000 in the county and it went R+30 four years ago.

Canada and the EU are working towards the deepest possible partnership — short of full membership — with Canada becoming the European Union’s first Associate Member. Despicable. An unforgivable betrayal. One more reason for why the rest of the world cannot trust America.👇

Something is happening in Florida. The energy behind Democratic candidates is unlike anything I’ve seen here in years. I’m not making predictions, but I am saying this: these races are going to be closer than most people think. If you know someone in Florida, don’t wait. Call them. Text them. Make sure they’re informed and ready to vote. The margins will be small. The stakes are enormous. Your conversation could be the one that makes the difference.

Fox tried every little “gotcha” they could think of and @AnnieAndrewsMD held her own and knew her stuff. She’s been to every single one of SC’s 46 counties and she is laser focused on what matters to the people, not the pundits!
PEDIATRICIAN BACKGROUND: "I’m a board-certified pediatrician... I’m also proud of the work I did in the gun violence prevention space. My role at Everytown was actually to develop a program to educate medical students on how to talk to parents about the importance of secure firearm storage... It really only took one of those tragedies to compel me to want to do something." @AnnieAndrewsMD

I’m a pile of tears right now. I’m sure like many of you I’ve followed her dad’s journey from a baker by profession who baked cakes & bread to assault soldier to a drone operator. I can’t imagine her pain. She referred to him as “my entire world. My utmost inspiration & example.”
Today, October 30th, my dad has been killed in action. My kind, calm father. I write it here because I know my dad has many friends in the NAFO community, people who he could rely on for help. His memory will perdure on this account. Forever loved and missed. 🛡️🕯️❤️

“It is illegal to import Russian energy into the United States. Any entity that facilitates such importation...will be directly funding Putin's barbaric war against Ukraine in violation of Federal law. We expect to see @CBP turn these tankers away at the border.” @RepMarcyKaptur
NEW!! In a letter to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Ukraine Caucus leaders Marcy Kaptur and Lloyd Doggett demand a halt to Russian diesel shipments bound for U.S. ports, warning importers and buyers could face criminal prosecution 👇

"I have no intention of holding back—Putin is a dictator who kills women and children. And he will continue to do so until he is forced to change course," Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal stated to the news portal *Delfi*. He was responding to a suggestion that he adopt a more restrained tone toward Russia. He emphasized that appeasing dictators only leads to humiliation and, ultimately, the loss of freedom. "Estonia—like the other Baltic states—maintains a clear stance regarding the threat posed by Russia. We have held this position in the past, and we will continue to maintain it in the future," said Michal. Michal further highlighted that Estonia invests nearly 7% of its GDP into NATO and its comprehensive national defense system; by defending the eastern flank, the country contributes to strengthening global security. "An accurate assessment of threats—calling a wolf a wolf, rather than just a 'forest animal'—is the fundamental prerequisite for one's own defense readiness," he remarked.
Pentagon urges Baltic states to temper their rhetoric toward Russia — Reuters ▪️ According to four individuals familiar with the matter, Pentagon officials recently approached several NATO countries, requesting that they tone down their rhetoric regarding the threat posed by Russia. They argued that certain statements made by European heads of state, government leaders, and other officials were undermining the continent's security. ▪️ Elbridge Colby, a senior Pentagon policy official and a key figure in the ongoing review of U.S. troop levels in Europe, was among the American representatives who conveyed this message. A source familiar with the situation told Reuters that Colby recently urged a Baltic official not to "provoke" the Russians. ▪️ The source stated that Colby cited public remarks by Europeans—such as describing Russia as an "animal backed into a corner" (literally: "like a rat backed into a corner")—as examples of unhelpful rhetoric. "We are helping you. The Americans are here. Just don’t shout so much. Don’t make such a fuss," a European official said, recounting details of the conversation. He also wanted to mention that this rhetoric could disrupt the dealings between Trump and Putin.

The US invites Lavrov to the G20, but doesn't invite Ukraine. The photo op falls apart because the European ministers predictably refuse to stand next to Lavrov. The US pressures the Baltic states to allow Belarusian potash to be transferred through their ports, when perfectly good potash is available from Canada, our erstwhile ally and immediate neighbor. The president's envoys tell Ukraine it should be grateful, because they're spending so much money on private jet fuel. Elbridge Colby tells the Europeans to tone down their rhetoric against Russia, currently waging a war of annihilation on their continent. The president strikes a deal with Putin to bring Russian diesel to the United States, which US ports and energy companies apparently don't want to touch, because it's illegal. The president "mulls" waiving sanctions on Russia's sovereign wealth fund, a tool to fund Russia's multi-front war against Ukraine and Europe. Kirill Dmitriev, a sanctioned oligarch, travels back and forth to the United States openly, as he pleases, and meets with the president's son-in-law and crony. Marco Rubio announces a suspension of funding for Ukraine under a preexisting support mechanism, and attempts to divide the same funding among several Latin American countries at levels below the congressional reporting threshold. Et cetera.

Russian Ministry of Defense running out of funds for troop payments. 🔥🔥🔥 According to a report by the outlet "Vyorstka," the Ministry of Defense is proposing to postpone payments to military personnel—typically issued before the turn of the year—until January, despite the fact that for the past 18 years, these payments have consistently been made at the end of December. The Ministry intends to make timely payments only to those directly involved in combat operations.

The Russian government's cash crunch now finally extends to the military, as Russia's Ministry of Defense has announced that all officers not currently serving at the front will be skipping their December salary. No reason has been given. This waa uncovered this morning by Russian media outlet Verstka.
Verstka has found out that the Russian Ministry of Defense is postponing the payments of salaries and other supplements for December to its staff that are not taking part in the war to January 2027. This is the first time such a postponement happens in the last 18 years.
